I was moving by .1 a day and was a bit confused like why? Im doing the things I need to do... good to go in the right direction... I was getting nervous so I stayed course and ignored the scale for 2 or 3 days then BAM. Somewhere in there I dropped a ton. Went from 3% of my goal to 48%. I must of been carrying extra water or waste or something.

Also the app says 14 days left but the last day to weigh in is 16 days right? So why does it say 14? Or am I hallucinating?

Hi Gage!

Great job!

The last day of the game is October 26, with the final weigh ins being October 27-28. Final weigh ins are always the 48 hours after the game has ended. :)

Great job!

Last time my weigh out of the last game counted as the weigh in for the new one? Does it just take more time? Or do i gotta talk to the right people? Haha.

Crushing it and so proud of you! That's amazing progress!

Well it helped that I had a ton of muscle underneath. But I probably lost alot. Im a landscaper and own my own business. I basically do cardio for hours a day. And paired with a severe calorie deficit... well it tends to start shaving lbs. To be honest I went about it all wrong. I could of done a body recomposition the whole way down and came out with more muscle. But I cut calories and didn't up protein or anything Im supposed to.

I dont recommend what I did. I basically ate the bare minimum. I do have plenty of cheat days to make up for the diet and my body slowing metabolism.

Idk. It worked but this is the diet people normally rebound from. I have before. I need to focus on not regaining all the weight. I guarantee I could gain it just as fast too. I like food.

Dang, a deficit is a deficit. The creatine seemed to do nothing weight wise. So i was worried for nothing!

On track. 10 days yall. GET IT!

  • Today's grocery haul from Walmart! We usually do Kroger or Aldi, but sometimes you gotta make adjustments! All the veggies for snacks/meals, salmon to make salads, blackened, or tacos, Cantaloupe & also picked up some chicken/eggs. Where's your favorite place to grocery shop?

Safeway. Its close. Im in the sticks.

I wish I had Aldi nearby! I get most at my military commissary but have to fill in at Walmart or other store.

  • Eggroll in a bowl for lunch. Ground turkey, tricolor slaw, teriyaki sauce. Yummy! Yes, I use a babyspoon because 1. I work at a daycare and 2. It helps eat it slower 😀

I love egg roll in a bowl. I use a tea spoon because it is smaller, but this is a brilliant idea!!

Just added creatine to my supplements. A tad worried that the water weight gain might wind up making me lose this one. But its a risk worth taking. I am trying to get my muscles back to how I had em before the weight gain. Not an easy task... but through hard work its possible. And its the over arching goal of my fitness journey. So losing a round and a bit of money but converting a few lbs of fat to muscle is still a win in my book.

May or may not win this one im over halfway there. But we shall see...

Wish me luck! Today was leg day!

The good news is that muscle has memory. You will regain the muscle you had much faster this time around.

Gage F.

Yeah im noticing im getting pretty quick gains. Almost like the "noob" gains back in the day. Im not exactly sure where I was but im going to try to blow past it.

  • Hello everybody. Today's lunch is endives and scambled eggs. And a coca cola zero. I should avoid soda but I can not get rid of my coca cola crave :(

I ate way too much yesterday, today I did good besides 1 small cookie. Worked out too. Sometimes my will isn't strong enough to avoid the snacks. This is rough. Ill win i know it, but man the temptation is STRONG.

gotta get fit before my wedding on halloween.

Yup, and the temptation hits even stronger when I’ve been working out. You got this, though. It’s not about any given day, but about going generally in the right direction.

  • Truth time: I’m not a big meal prepper 🙋???. I’m more of a “what’s in the fridge and what can I make from it?” kinda gal. Because let’s be real—what sounds good today, I probably won’t want two days from now 😂.

That said, I do like having a few things prepped and ready, plus extra water bottles filled, so I’ve got zero excuses when it comes to hitting my nutrition, water, steps, and miles goals 💪. Flexibility + a little prep = balance that actually works for me.

👉 Now tell me—are you Team Meal Prep or Team Wing It?

I'm sooo with you, I just can't get with the meal prep thing. I don't understand how people eat the same things day in and day out. I eat something different every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have a seven day protein plan for dinner like Mon shrimp, Tue chicken, Wed pork chops, etc. That's as far as the meal planning goes and the only reason for that is so we don't eat the same meat twice in a week. We buy 95% whole foods, very little processed convenient foods and those are mostly cause of two teen boys. Football practice, busy lives. I can make a meal in 30 minutes or less from the food we keep on hand, I find the meal prep unnecessary.

cindifromindy

I do both. I used to do 24 freezer meals but i got tired of them. Best wishes
