    My pic: 2023 at a high (but not highest) weight and last week in new jeans. Sometimes my progress feels so slow and even backwards, but seeing the difference really helps.

    Photo hint: I use a free app called Layout. It's the easiest way I've found to make collage photos - at least on an Apple phone.

I failed my last DietBet because of a shift change— with sleep issues and then I just gave up. Usually I would wait months to try again. But I’m getting right back on the horse this time. So that’s a Non Scale Victory for me! I will be successful this time.

I have been pretty good this round but this past weekend I changed from night shift to day shift. I started to transition my hours on Friday and then just push through all day Saturday and then Sunday. But my body has me wide awake after sleeping for about 3 hours. And now I have a weight gain! I leave for vacation tomorrow so I’m planning on working out everyday, sticking with my diet and I’ll be drinking more water because I’ll be in hot weather. I know I’ve heard sleep makes a big difference in weight loss. Has anyone had an experience with sleep issues and weight gain? Or noticed a better loss with better sleep?

Sleep makes a big difference for me! I need 5 to love, 7 to be good, 8 to thrive. On days I get 7-8 I usually see weight loss.

Yes, I’m gonna track my water again starting tomorrow. I think that makes a big difference for me.

I’ve had to do weigh ins with two different scales before and I didn’t have any issues.

Yes it’s digital. Thank you all I do follow all the rules for weigh ins. Well nothing I can do about my broken scale I’ve had it for at least 20 years I’m surprised it lasted that long.

I am counting macros! 140g protein, 100g carbs

I walk 15-19k steps and strength train.

I am trying to focus on hydration lately I’ve been skipping water 😩 and drowning myself in coffee

I need to lose my last 20 lbs to reach my goal and then hopefully maintain!

I’ve lost 115lbs initially and then have regained and lost the last 60 after pregnancies and life!

Impressive loss! I keep losing and gaining the same 12-15 pounds and then just stop because of life. But I am in a new season of life and it will work this time. I’ll keep it off AND keep going! Let’s stay motivated.
