I need two more pounds before weight in! Any good suggestions? I already do my best to get 10k steps a day, I eat in a calorie deficit and every other day I lift/cardio. I’m open to almost anything ❤ Even some good food ( I allergic to all sea food) thank you for any ideas in advance!!

Im 5’2 so I am considered on the short side lol I usually eat around 2000 calories and burn around 500 a day. Usually I lose about 2 pounds a week. This week just been slower than usual

Also make sure your getting enough potassium. A cramp now would be bad. And it helps with other things too.

  • Progress. Some milestones are completely unexpected. I’m going to share a story that is only tangentially mine, but very close to my heart :-)
    My daughter joined me in dieting over a year ago and has lost about 50 pounds. Recently, she told me that the bath towel she had been using for the last year wrapped all the way around her. For all the small and large successes over the last year, this one felt monumental. I’ve experienced the towel wrap, and completely understand! We think about our clothes fitting and the number on the scale, but sometimes huge progress comes from very unexpected places. Like a gap-free bath towel😍

I weighed in today and I’m officially down 6 pounds the last 3 weeks! I still have a few more to go to hit my 4% but to see almost under 200 has me in tears today!!

Random Relatable Diet Moments:
I was walking at the park yesterday and a lady in front of me was clearly embarking on her health journey. Her exercise clothes looked brand new, and her walking shoes looked just out of the box. Her gait was slowish and lumbering. I wanted to yell out, “It’ll be okay! I’ve been where you are! You got this!”. But that felt rude and presumptuous. As I passed, I turned toward her and and saw a look of pained determination on her face. I gave her a smile and a warm, “Good morning”. She looked a little surprised and returned the greeting. I wonder if I’ll see her again, and if the walk will be a little easier for her.

  • Hello everyone! I want to say congratulations to everyone who signed up and took this challenge to begin with. I signed up thinking that it be a great motivation for me to push me to my goals I have when it comes to losing weight. I do unfortunately have Crohn’s disease, and pot syndrome and it took me a few steps back this last week. But I can proudly say I lost a little over 3 and half pounds and I’ll take that any day over gaining. I been counting my calories daily and over all I feel like I lost itches. I will not be hitting 4 percent of my weight but I can’t wait to start back up again Sunday and keep pushing! Again congratulations just for taking the push and being here! ❤ p.s fruit smoothies with a spoon of peanut butter is life!
