  • Today’s meal plan! Total of 1650 calories, 183 protein, 121 carbs, and 54 fat. Little over my macro goal for fat but only by 17 and over my protein goal by 20. This week has been exhausting - cheers to being female - but one day at a time! Win the day then wake up and rinse and repeat. Happy Thursday!

Onederland! Okay... I've had 3 days in a row that I've been under 200, so I am ready to announce it today! I was 276 back in November 2023 and have been working on it (off and on) since then. I was under 200 for a hot second (only saw it once) back in February, when I started to gain about 10 pounds and I knew I had to change my effort...hence my joining this Bet!

Eager to see you all post your successes! You motivate me!

Woohooo!!! Getting under 200 has been a S T R U G G L E !!!! Even though I’m in the smallest clothes I’ve been in probably since I was 22 - I still want to see the 1 at the front!! Great job!!!

Elizabeth

Thank you both - for the kindness and for posting your journey in the main chat! And, yes I 100% know feeling better is the best reward...but seeing the number go under 200 was a thrill. Now just to keep our motion going forward so I can also start getting into my smaller clothes like you two have!

  • Sunday and Monday are my days off- I try to get my food prep for the work wk done so I can grab and go and not have to think about my calories all that much- I have eaten these egg white “McMuffins” for the last 3 years 😂 I love them!

  • Happy Saturday! Saturdays are usually fasted cardio days for me. I generally do an hour on our recumbent bike. I also never trust or count the calories burned- but it sure is a motivator to push a little harder. I hope everyone is feeling strong going into Round 2! LFG and crush this next Round!

Woot woot! Hit round 1 goal and surpassed it with a 1.5lb buffer! We have a very busy summer of trips planned but I tried my best to wiggle around weigh in days. We are leaving for the first one in 2 wks- first a quick trip to TN to see my brother and then home to turn around and head to the beach for 4 days with my husbands side of the family. My goal for the next 2 wks is to be ON POINT with my nutrition plan so I can get as ahead of the game as possible so I can indulge a little while we are away. Feeling really focused and determined to win this 6 month goal!

Great job. Staying on point on vacation is TOUGH.

Cortney T.

Staying on point for vacation seems silly to me- the only way I would do that is if the weigh in was during or only a day or so after getting home- vacation weight is usually mostly water weight and comes off quickly if you don’t continue to eat like you’re on vacation. I will sometimes join a DB purposely right before I leave for one just so I am forced to get myself back on track. It has worked like a charm the last 2 summers.

  • How’s everyone doing?! I’m feeling pretty good!! I’ve managed to reduce my nighttime snacking and it’s helped so much! It triggers me to no end- no matter when I ate last- I just want to keep grazing ? so I’ve been giving myself a window to eat from around 8/9:00 until around 7:30. I’ve also been doing fasted lifts this wk as well prior to weigh-in. My strength isn’t close to my usual but I know it burns more calories- according to a friend of mine who does bodybuilding comps anyway - I’ve got .7 to go until next Friday at the latest and I’m feeling better than I have in a very long time.

FANTASTIC ?
Me too on the night snacking. I can go from one thing to another. My mother used to say, when she saw us kids staring into the refrigerator in a trance late at night, “You’re not hungry, you’re tired. Go to bed.” There is now medical research that proves that. How did she know??

Elizabeth

You're doing great! I'm the same on the snacking. I've done better not grazing all throughout the day, but if I snack at night it just doesn't end (one night I actually ate mixed butter and sugar...). I'm trying to keep a 6-hour eating window. I'm at the monthly goal right now -- but my fight is usually to not go in reverse!

DietBet is telling me I have 42hrs to submit final weigh-in which takes me to Wednesday at 1.34am? I am planning to submit tomorrow, Tuesday June 3rd however. I didn’t quite reach my goal, but I’m going to do everything I can in the next 24hrs!

Hi! This is my very first transformer - I’ve always done the kickstarters to either stay on track or get back on track. I finally decided I was going to go for a big one and shoot to hit a huge goal for myself and get under 200lbs. My 10% goal is 195.5. I am determined to not backslide and finally hit this goal. I’ve gotten so close and each time I just revert to poor nutrition choices and gain 10-15lbs back - 212 is my sweet spot, I can eat basically half ass it and maintain as long as I push the weight and get the fasted cardio. I’ve decided that I have had enough of my own BS excuses and I’m hitting this goal for once and for all!! Good luck to everyone!! Let’s do this!!
