  • The last 2 wks have been a blur! How’s everyone hanging in? I’m doing ok- weight is coming off slower but I expected that and am still trending down even with a few trips here and there- I’ve been making substitutions when I can and making better choices - usually I look at vacation as a time to indulge but I am determined to do this thing! I’m currently in CO visiting a friend until Thursday and just made a quick chicken salad to have before we head out to meet friends for dinner- this way I won’t be starving and can pick a smaller less calorie dense option without feeling deprived.

I hope your advance eating plan worked! For me, I find I need to look at the menu and plan what I'll order before we even get to the restaurant... Great luck to you the next 5 days before weigh in!

Danika, Yes my weight fluctuates in the morning I have been fasting all night. So that's my lightest. Then eating all day drinking water. Exercise all makes your weight increase significantly. Why it is best for weigh ins 1st thing in the am

  • Cheers to completing the first 2 months and starting Round 3! May 18th 217.2lbs —> July 19th 204lbs. Down a total of 13.2lbs and feeling determined heading into Round 3- this is a big personal goal for me as my goal weight is set for 199.8. It’s almost ironic that is just .2 under 200 bc I have been chasing to be under 200 for almost 5 years and just keep letting myself backslide. Round 3 is going to be “the” round for me. So you’ll have to excuse me when I’m emotionally vomiting the next 4 wks - it’s going to be a wild ride of planning, will power, and determination to hit it with 2 trips planned in August. Let’s go!!

Definitely didn't make this one but that's ok. I'm hopeful for next one. It's been bouncing around and pretty much at a plateau but hopefully it's better next time.

I was so nervous joining this dietbet. I am already down 165 pounds, from 461.

I didn't think I would hit my goals as I have already lost so much, even though I still have plenty to lose. I am already under my goal for next months goal, which is a huge shock to me! Now just to keep plugging away, and hit the rest of the goal and not gain anything back!

  • Today’s meal plan! Total of 1650 calories, 183 protein, 121 carbs, and 54 fat. Little over my macro goal for fat but only by 17 and over my protein goal by 20. This week has been exhausting - cheers to being female - but one day at a time! Win the day then wake up and rinse and repeat. Happy Thursday!

Onederland! Okay... I've had 3 days in a row that I've been under 200, so I am ready to announce it today! I was 276 back in November 2023 and have been working on it (off and on) since then. I was under 200 for a hot second (only saw it once) back in February, when I started to gain about 10 pounds and I knew I had to change my effort...hence my joining this Bet!

  • Sunday and Monday are my days off- I try to get my food prep for the work wk done so I can grab and go and not have to think about my calories all that much- I have eaten these egg white “McMuffins” for the last 3 years 😂 I love them!
