  • Our game isn't over yet so really focusing on my nutrition and having healthy options in my home to keep me on track! I've been going to a local store hoping for some deals and lucked out today on my proteins! One thing that used to stop me from eating healthy was because I thought it was too hard to save money, but ive learned you just gotta get creative. Plan your meals around the sale ads, use coupons, shop for mark downs or earlier in the morning, freeze, meal prep, etc - just get creative! I used to spend way more money eating fast food for almost every meal. Excited to try new things this week, whats your goal/plan to finish strong?

Wow! How exciting to find so many deals! My plan is to get at least a gallon of water, increase veggie volume by one cup at least, and try to be intentional about moving.

I need to be better about looking for the deals and such! I love Aldi for affordable fresh produce.

I’ve been having a coffee after each meal for the past several months (decaf after dinner). This was to distract me from wanting alcohol and unhelpful foods. It worked well, and I’ve gotten away from those things. But I realized today that I’m having altogether 210 extra calories, and nearly the equivalent of added sugar in a can of soda- every day. I guess I just never added it up since I was still consistently losing a little at a time.

Today instead of dinner coffee I tried 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder in 8oz water with 2 stevia packets. That’s 10 calories, and bonus 2 grams of fiber. Is it as awesome as my coffee with 2 tablespoons of creamer? Nope. But it wasn’t bad, and I know I’m going to feel so much better without that added sugar. It’s pretty good with a peppermint tea bag too. Little adjustments add up. I’m excited to see if this makes a difference for me.

If you try it, be sure to continue to stir while you sip as it will settle at the bottom.

Lysh, I do 50/50! A half cup of each is a good amount and the carrots bulk it up nicely! I grate it ahead of time, but have found you can't grate it for more than a couple of days. The carrots seem to go bad quicker than I'd expected! Lesson learned the hard way once! lol!

Never feel bashful to put a scoop of protein powder in your coffee that fill you up to truly helps

  • Happy Friday, rockstars! Can you believe it? We've officially hit the halfway point of our DietBet challenge! High-fives all around for making it this far! Seriously, every single day of effort, every healthy choice, and every step you've taken truly counts.

Now, while the scale is definitely one way to measure progress, let's talk about something even more awesome: those incredible Non-Scale Victories (NSVs)! These are often the biggest, most powerful, and most meaningful changes we experience. Maybe you're bouncing out of bed with more energy, your favorite jeans are fitting a little better, you're sleeping like a baby, or you just feel a boost in your overall confidence. Perhaps you've noticed you're actually craving healthy foods, or reaching for your water bottle has become second nature. These personal wins are a big deal, and we want to celebrate every single one of them! So, tell us: What's one non-scale victory you've noticed or achieved so far? Let's celebrate our amazing progress together!

Though the scales not moving much, I know I’m changing as I fit into an old suit jacket. I haven’t fit into years love it.
