Except for the fact that my husband uses the same scale, I would wonder if it is broken. I have gotten the same weight to the ounce at the last three weigh ins.

1/2 a pound from goal 2? Fingers crossed my Dad's surgery on Thursday doesn't spiral the emotional eating too much this week. Trying to stay busy and prep meals ahead!
Hi, all! The last week has been a struggle. I’ve got my exercise routine down pat, but I’m having a really hard time avoiding snacking and overeating during some of my meals (mainly at home).
I’m focusing on doing all the things I know I should be doing… eating enough protein, drinking water all day, filling up on veggies, healthy carbs from veg, food prepping for breakfast and lunches, and I eat an apple when I am “starving”. I realize so much of the issue is mental and just bad habits. If I lived alone I wouldn’t have cheese-itz or chocolate chips or other tempting carbohydrates and sugar on the premises! It’s hard to resist cravings after a long day of working, parenting, house cleaning, stressing, adulting. Just being real!
How’s everyone else doing?

- Guys! I can't believe I've lost 8 pounds! Still a long way to go but seeing what I started to to what I weighed in at this morning was such a great feeling.
What are your favorite foods to pack for lunches? I crave hot food this time of year (so not really packing salads).

I just got off a week long cruise and was so scared to step on that scale. I had so much fun but limited sugary drinks to 1 a day as well as desserts. I got every every morning and walked the track around the ship at least 2 miles and would eat sensibly for breakfast and lunch. Dinner I indulged but never ate until I felt sick or stuffed, learning that I could ask for half portions was a life saver lol. The results were I actually lost weight!!!( probably had more to do with all the dancing and taking the stairs instead of elevator if it was under 5 floors) I couldn't be happier.
Last night was the SuperBowl here in the States, lots of adult beverages and party foods. I kept it simple with only 1 adult bev-hoping to limit the damage, lol.
I hardly see anyone saying anything. Where do we go to talk?
