  • Got a super light leg day in; just enough to wake them up. I’ll start going heavier and longer as they regain strength.

    If you haven’t tried weight lifting - I highly recommend. The more I lift, the less pain I have, the more energy I have (probably because when your stronger it’s not as hard to move around), and obviously the better I look (muscle burns more calories while taking up less space).

    What’s everyone else up to today? Workout or rest day?

Hey all!

I’ve made it to the gym for at least 30 min each day this week. I’ve made a deal with myself that I work hard 6 days a week and I get 1 day “off” to rest and eat something indulgent.

Today will be my treat day because who doesn’t want a hot dog on the 4th of July?!

I find this helps me be strong the rest of the week. Tomorrow I’m signed up for yoga. Trying to build consistency.

I am good so far! Still feeling motivated! Finding my groove to get back into my habits. I always feel like the first couple weeks are the hardest to just find the rhythm that works for me

My goals are to exercise 45minutes every day and to eat whole foods (paleo inspired)
I am feeling a little bit nervous as we are going to a fair tomorrow and that fried food is a temptation
