- Wooo man, what a week! As I’ve said forever it seems, you can be stubborn in your goals, but stay flexible in your methods. Between kids out of school most of the week with all the lovely cold and ice, our youngest getting a pretty severe concussion Friday at recess (he’s good now and recovering), our oldest having a soccer tourney today with a windchill of 6 degrees, then getting tangled up with another player and hitting her head on the turf which prompted another ER visit and another concussion (very mild)…basically how I planned to end this week and game didn’t go anything like I planned.
First and most importantly, I am SO FRIGGIN’ PROUD of all of you! Whether you made the 4% goal for this game or not, you still won simply in the fact that you committed to taking four weeks to create healthier habits, both in your fitness and nutrition. Now, I hope you continue those habits moving forward! Remember, this game was about learning which habits and practices are not sustainable in your daily life and which ones you can keep focusing on to keep heading the right direction to your goals.
