My personal tricks to eating less, and not feeling like I'm always hungry, something I've always struggled with, especially as a mom to two under two. Green tea between meals, intermittent fasting till I actually feel hungry and not just eating because its morning. Replace bread and pasta for rice, and finally honor cravings. When Im craving something sweet I eat a few bites wait about 20 minutes if im still craving whatever it was I was previously craving I go back for more. If it been satisfied Im happy, and don't feel like I deprived myself.
