Didn’t make round 1 or 2. Round 3 goal seems ambitious right now, but my weight is down and I’m feeling stronger. I might give all of you all my money but I’m getting healthier slow and steady making sustainable changes.

I was SO overtired today and everything caught up with me, I did not stick with my plan today and had extras well into my fasting window. I am so glad IF is flexible, and I'm trying not to tell myself I did anything wrong, just shifting what I need to do tomorrow to make up for it.

It's another good reminder to me how essential sleep is to our health and sticking to the plan, but sometimes life gives us kids and puppies and things with needs beyond our control that interrupt and take away from sleep. Something's gotta give at some point!!

I know that you posted a couple days ago, but reading this what popped into my mind is “It’s better to rest than to quit.” Sometimes you have an off day (or bunch). It’s okay to rest when you need it then come back to the plan. I gotta remind myself too.

I’m a first time player for DietBet.
I’ve done lots of WayBetter games (starting with RunBet in 2019.) I turned 40 just over a year ago and signed up for a 6 month step challenge and told myself 50lbs heavier than before having kids would be my highest weight. But a year later, I’m healthier for sure but my weight went up and down and I’m about the same as I was a year ago. January 1st I told myself I wouldn’t focus on being skinnier, just being stronger and then I signed up for this game anyway.
So I’ve been doing calisthenics and walking more and trying to eat way more fruits and vegetables. For now I’m focusing on what I can do and not being super restrictive with myself because I know that’s not sustainable for me. As others have said it’s hard doing it while taking care of young kids, but that’s why it’s important too. I want to be active and healthy while they’re young.
