Got on the scale this morning just to check that I’m close to my goal and I have officially lost 50 lbs! And I’m under the goal weight so that was good. One more pound and I’ll have lost 30% of my original body weight. I started September 23rd doing Weight Watchers and taking weight loss meds from For Hers (Bupropion, Naltrexone, and Metformin). I walk at work and exercise everyday at home-no gym. And while I know the meds have helped speed up the process, I have also worked my tail off, quite literally, to get where I am. I am extremely proud of myself! I’ve never accomplished anything like this before!

Got bronchitis. Activity has crept to zero. I have no appetite, but the antibiotics and cough suppressant are slowing my digestion and my weight is now yo-yoing all over the place. Listening to my body and tracking my food, but I’m anxious close to the date and it’s hard.

The worst part is I had scheduled a 5k race for Mother’s Day - my first ever 5k - and now I’ll be walking instead of running (if I can even get out there at all!!) What a bummer!

I just made it exactly on the target! I am so surprised but honestly really happy. It sucks bc 3 days ago I was 2 lb lighter and feeling cushy! Thanks guys. Now to concentrate on beating this cough. :(

In honor of the flying pig marathon today, I am attempting walk my first 10K (on my treadmill)! I did 4 1/2 miles yesterday so we will see how it goes

And the yoyoing continues. So yesterday the gain and plateau was gone. Then today i gain a whole 5lbs! Before the complaints come, I either get on the scale daily or I stop altogether. Seeing the number helps me to eat better. I did eat a dill pickle but 5 lbs is ridiculous. I'll add only half to a salad next time. Ah!!!!

  • Started doing my workouts in the morning instead of after work
    I wake up at 6, do my yoga then a workout video for weight lifting. Then get my kids ready for school and head to work. I have a walking pad in my office and it is a game changer.
    I walk on it after lunch when I am in the office. Yoga has helped with my mobility and body aches.
