My luck - was on the treadmill, did a great workout! Stepped off and twisted my ankle. Had X-ray-no fracture but it swelled up like a ballon. Now I need to figure out some movement to keep motivated….any thoughts ?

I ate poorly allllll day yesterday. Could have been worse, luckily I don’t keep much bad foods in the house, but I was able to do enough damage. Today is a new day though, so I’m not gonna beat myself up over it or anything. Mostly, the eating bad affects my sleep and that’s a killer for me. I need my sleep, it’s so crucial. So here’s to a new day!

@Sarah M - I use the app called Lose It. I measure everything I eat with measuring cups and measuring spoons and then scan the barcode on the food packaging. It is SO helpful to learn exactly how much you should be eating and how easy it is to overeat

Felt a little discouraged this morning stepping on the scale. Yea, I started at 190 and now down to 185 after a week, which is great but I was the same as yesterday. The last time I dieted, I changed eating and water intake and weight just melted off and it was so easy! 2 pounds a day at least! I’m reminding myself right now though that not everyone can lose weight no matter how hard they try and some can’t gain weight. I’m feeling blessed now that I’m thinking more about it and not as discouraged! I remind myself with determination and motivation, I can do anything, including reaching my end goal which is 40 pounds this year. It won’t be easy and of course all the yummy things will look me in the eye, but my true goal is to feel better and be better so my kiddos can have a mom that’s energetic, happy & strong! If anyone steps on the scale and feels discouraged or that you’re at a standstill and feel it’s a struggle, just remember your goals-your true goals! We all need some encouragement sometimes, and I encourage everyone today to look in the mirror without feeling you’re not amazing and beautiful! ♥
