So during this dietbet, I knew I would have challenges as we all do. I am so happy to say that I made it through them so far and could be on track to make weight in. Problem is I have 3 grad parties this weekend with some of my best friends with some amazing catered food and alcohol! And I know, there are always "special events" but these are in fact one time events that won't come around again. I want to be present and eat and drink and have fun. So trying to decide if I just call it now!!

I feel you... maybe try to set yourself at least some limits, with smaller portions and not that much alcohol.

Give me strength 🙏—the last 4 days of this challenge fall in the middle of my son’s college graduation celebration. Hours in the car, followed by dinners, receptions and lots of sitting. Strategies anyone?

Well, unfortunately I got the flu last week and have had all the lovely and attractive symptoms that go with that. Today is my first day out of bed. I’m under this DietBet win number, but I’ll probably gain this week since I’ll be eating and hopefully keeping it down. I missed Mother’s Day. 😒

Need motivation to do consistent exercise. Struggling with schedule management as have young toddler kids & also working full time. Give me suggestions how you motivate your self to do consistent exercises

Yes—working in a couple of quick workouts (videos make it easier as you can just follow along) can help you make a mostly nonnegotiable habit of workouts. I second getting in an early morning workout, even for 10-15 minutes. Depending on kids’ ages, maybe you can walk, run, or do bodyweight exercises when they are at an activity, or take them in a stroller outside. Or plan longer workouts for the weekend. Good luck!

I meant to add that it has helped me to pick out a video or two for the next day so I don’t spend time looking for one when it’s too early to think. :grin:
