  • I grow sunflowers🌻had to move my belt over a notch and my ring slides off now. 14.5k steps yesterday including 2K in my walk about.. that’s inside my house in 35 mins. Believe and live life juicy 🌻🌻🌻

Weekends are usually my downfall, but I tried really hard this weekend. Was still scared of getting on the scale this morning but I managed to loose a few ounces instead of gaining! So happy!!

I’m new here. I decided in 2025 just to do things in a different way…more than I have ever done before. Since Dec. 30th…
No sugar, no eating out, no fried foods, no Mt. Dew, no Sonic Sweet Tea, and replaced it with home-cooked, portion-controlled foods I really love! High protein, low carb with a 1200 cal ceiling, and 100 ounces of water each day. Since December 30 I have lost 21 pounds and so I decided maybe it would be fun to join a community and watch other people do the same thing to keep my motivation strong…
And a few extra bucks, if I make my goal, never won’t either, right?

Hey everyone! I just joined. I haven't done a diet bet in a while. I decided to do this because 1. It's already started, 2. I've been following Lexi's journey for a while and she's inspired me, and 3...... I'm going on a cruise the 24-28th and I'm hoping THIS will help me hold myself accountable so I don't overeat and continue my own journey.
I lost 101 lbs about 15 years ago. I've the years I gained what I lost plus a lot. I reached my all time high in July 2024 and decided that was enough. I "tried" for about 6 months and then finally after making tiny progress, I hired a trainer and nutritionist. And with her help, I've been making great progress. I don't want to lose it now and this cruise could do it. So I'm being proactive and putting some money on the line.

Whether I win or not, my goal is to not gain during the cruise.

  • I started on the 8th and I'm down by a lot. I'm sure it has something to do with me choosing low carb and staying away from ultra processed foods, starches, and all sugar.

    I'm 75% into this DietBet's weight loss goal. Hopefully, the rate of weight loss will slow down in the 2nd week.

    The thing is I'm not even hungry or craving anything and I feel pretty energetic.

Lura, I prepare my food now and eat a lot more protein and avoid carbs other than vegetables.
