  • I didn't win, but I'm in the right direction. Short of depriving myself of meals this month, I don't think I could have won. Looking back, I had too much stress on my plate cause by busier than normal work which affected how much little time I had to do my online college schooling. It was a viscous cycle of stress and lack of sleep. 2 big factors in weight loss. I'm going to continue this through February and hope to see that end result by my birthday next month.

I did it!! 9,6lbs down and officially verified as a winner. And how did I celebrate? Giant hugs from my kids who saw mama getting healthy again and my normal breakfast of oatmeal, egg whites, pb and fruit with a ton of water. Not going to let this challenge being over trick me into thinking I can go back to my old habits. Getting a workout in shortly. Congrats to everyone whether you made the 4% or not!

Good morning , I hope everyone crushed this challenge. I was 2lb off my goal but I'm still proud of my self that I was able to loose 4lb. Im happy with it, being 57 years old is not easy to loose weight. I am glad I joined the challenge now I know to keep doing what I started with this group. I can continue to reach my goal. And photos. I am just below the goal. How long has it taken today for admins to approve the weigh-ins for those that have received approvals. I’m really hoping i can eat my breakfast soon but if i eat anything I’ll be over my goal. Hoping it won’t take 24hrs to get an approval back!

Just got my verification and it took 2 hours from weigh in. I figured if for some reason it didn’t take I would do it again tomorrow morning so I didn’t have to worry about eating/drinking this morning, especially since I workout first thing.

This has been a rollercoaster ride and for my own mental health I will not be doing a diet bet again. Yesterday I was .1 away from my goal and after ending up eating only one large meal mid day I was sure I’d get there. Unfortunately my husband salts things more than I do and I jumped up a full pound this morning. Now I’m feeling like I just want to go all day today without eating so I can weigh in tomorrow but that feels like a very unhealthy mentality. These were fun in my 30s but that time of life is over. Congrats to those who hit their goals and learned new, healthy habits!

No single plan works for everyone. Joel's plan is good, but if it didn't work for you, it's not *your* plan. You've got to carefully track your diet, exercise, and activities. Look for patterns, then adjust to boost the good ones and cut down on the bad ones. Just keep going.

When I’m in a cut, it seems like my :poop::poop: schedule gets thrown off. If you haven’t gone #2 in a day or two, that’s a big factor too. If that’s the case, smooth move tea works well.
