I’ve submitted my weigh in and I am still waiting on the official verification….
But here is what I did this time that was so different! I always yo-yo and lose weight then gain it back. This time I weighed in at the beginning and then didn’t weigh myself again till today.
I focused on just trying to live healthy. I didn’t track exercise. I didn’t track my eating. I simply tried to make sustainable choices for myself. I did what felt good to my body at the time because I don’t want to track and weigh food and yo-yo anymore. I was so nervous when I stepped on the scale this morning…. I DID IT!!
Barely 😅 but I did it with .7 to spare. But it made me feel more confident than ever!!! If I listen to my body, truly listen - and ask myself where do you want to be in 6 months? In 1 year? It helps shape my choices without stress. I said no to my children’s candy but then enjoyed ice cream when my in-laws were in town. Small choices but they made a big difference and I feel like it’s sustainable. I stress to much about the small decisions and this time just wanted to relax into a new type of thinking.
So now hoping my weight is verified so I can put my scale away again!!! Y
