I actually met my goal today but it is a “false victory”. Just back from a 3 day backpack trip where I no doubt burned a zillion calories. And I suspect I am still dehydrated. My goal is healthier eating and a sustained lower weight. So I am going to keep working on substituting healthy food for empty calories.

Paige, 12K a day is incredible! That takes a big effort! Way to go! Meal prepping is always worth the time, I've found and has saved me from some unhealthy choices! Great weekend strategy!

Vince, backpacking is awesome exercise! Backpackers always seem healthy and peaceful. All that nature is good for the soul! Health food swaps are always a great strategy! I read recently that if you look for a similar texture like carrots or cucumber slices for chips (so you get the crunch) helps make them even more successful.
