- I’m not giving up, but the chances of me hitting my goal for this bet are slim (ha) to none. I’m still up a few lbs from my initial weigh in, and that’s frustrating. But what I’m (re)learning is that this whole losing weight thing takes real effort (duh, I know). And I’ve been reminded of how much better I feel when I’m making that effort (see my sweaty selfie photo from 2019, the healthiest I’ve ever been).
I’ve got meal kits set to be delivered again this week, I’m already mentally preparing my lunches, and I found a new workout I want to try. I’m also ordering a new band for my Garmin because the old one was irritating my skin.
It’s time to turn this around!
