  • I keep this Trader Joe’s marinated chicken shawarma in the freezer for those lazy nights. Air fried/baked whatever it’s so good. Yes, I could make my own marinade and I do sometimes but it’s so nice when we don’t want to think about it.

  • I know. I know. This looks wild. Having one Tiffany plate a day has increased my fiber/protein, improved my afternoon fatigue, and helped me get down 3 lbs despite eating at steakhouses for 2 holiday family dinners. Yes I had all the steak/potatoes and crème brulee/cheesecake. I love veggies and I know some can’t eat them raw like this but it’s been great for keeping me full. It replaces a meal and my other meals have been fairly normal with some tweaks such as I used a Wendy’s chili copycat recipe and replaced beef with ground turkey and better than beef bouillon. https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/231082/just-like-wendys-chili/

Also bare chicken nuggets for quick air fried protein have come in clutch.

  • Using the Tiffany plate method to get my fiber and protein in. Yes it looks wild and yes I covered everything with tajin. Airfyer chick peas are the best snack if you have savory cravings like me.

The tiffany plate just replaces one of my meals (lunch or dinner) where I focus on getting fiber in and some protein.

Definitely going to try the chickpeas…sounds interesting.

I've set a goal to learn to make two new delicious and healthy meals each week. Can you share some of your favorites that are easy to make, nutrious, tastes good, and conducive to weight loss? If it matters, I plan to do IF and probably higher protein lower fat, and long term a Mediterranean diet.

I like ground turkey taco meat. Instead of tortillas I just use the meat on top of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers. I use taco sauce as “dressing” so it doesn’t add calories. I use this taco seasoning recipe so there isn’t added sugar. https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/46653/taco-seasoning-i/?advertest=myrecipes

I take a bag of steamed broccoli Normandy, add diced chicken and sprinkle in a little cheese. It's so good and quick to make
