I second putting a scheduled reminder for every weigh-in day in your phone calendar. I have totally remembered weigh-in day that morning, but I got caught up in the most trivial thing just to forget to submit my progress. It really sucks, but at least you hit your goal, and half of your buy-in this month is still waiting for you at the end of the 6 months.

I have met my goal with 11 days left!!!
I started with the mindset that this is a year to make ME happy. No one else.

I’m tracking calories. I have drastically cut my drinking (100% sure this has been a huge factor in my weight and overall blah-ness)

I am being over to myself. And if I “fall off” not beating myself up. Which in the past only lead to “well.. already messed up. Might as well go all in”. I am
Being more accountable. And making time for myself!

I am so glad to share this journey with everyone here. We got this!

  • Ok, everyone! Two weeks left until our Round 1 weigh-in! How are you feeling about that?

    Many of us start off very strong with some big 2025 New Year goals and awesome motivation... but we all know the hard part is maintaining that momentum!

    This is your reminder that perfection is the enemy of progress.

    Has anyone found themselves going so gung-ho with making changes that they feel terrible when they slip up? Or, even worse, it can result in a downward spiral?

    Slow and steady wins the race, and it's a lot easier to continue in the right direction if you have a little grace and focus on small changes and forward motion each day.

    Share if you have felt this or dealt with it in the past!

    Also, share what small, manageable changes you're making this time around!

@Kristine F Thank you for the book suggestion. I am currently in a weightlifting program on Bodi, and I will say I feel great! As I have moved through my weight loss journey, my doctor has been insistent that I lift weights and just do moderate cardio/HIIT. It's super important to ensure you don't lose muscle with your weight loss when you are over a certain age! So weight lifting it is...plus I've found that if I've hit a plateau, I focus on lifting HEAVY and it kickstarts my metabolism and the scale moves again. Best of luck on your journey!

I was doing great and was below my feb weigh in goal, and then we had a party with pizza and left over pizza the next day and now I'm up almost to my starting weight.

I do! It’s my main source of working out! Beat saber! There are certain songs that are great for working out. I’ve made a playlist for that. Supernatural is a workout app that’s amazing. Thrill of the fight is a boxing app that gives you a great workout. Fitxr is a workout app that incorporates a lot of different styles of workouts. There is a whole section on the shop for apps that’s geared towards fitness. I have the quest 3s.

Hello all you wonderful people. I woke up in a great mood ready to take this on. It’s time to focus on me and making small improvements every day. I am down about 6lbs already. And next goal is to start meal prepping on Sundays for the week!
