Does anyone else fluctuate weight almost daily… I can’t figure out if it’s salt holding onto water or what…

Yeah, I think it's normal for weight to fluctuate daily. Exercise, what you eat, how much you ate, hormones, stress, and more can effect your weight day to day. Is it fluctuating significantly?

Lauren K.

Fluctuating weight daily is definitely normal. Carbs and salt are definitely going to make you hold onto more water. Also water retention during PMS. I can jump 5 to 7 pounds just by what I eat and then knock it off in a couple days :sob:
If you’re weighing yourself daily, I wouldn’t worry about tiny fluctuations, as long as the general trend is going down

I am ahead of my goal. I did a Kickstarter and weighed in today. That is what made the difference for me. Hopefully I don't go crazy over the next couple days.

I have met my goal for this round.

I’ve done a few different DietBet games, the Transformer is the healthiest and most successful format for me. I love (and hate) the changes it requires. I’m looking forward to this one, I will actually be at (or extremely close to) my goal weight in 6 months🎉

I totally agree. I feel like the mindset of the Kickstarter is kind of unhealthy and attracts a quick loss mindset vs a long term sustainable weightloss.

Lauren K.

Same!!! I did one last year and was successful but gained some back over the last 8 months. I love the long-term aspect of it where you had accountability but if you messed up a day or two, it wasn’t the end of the world. I was able to go on vacation and enjoy vacation while still being successful in the bet. I have tried to do quick four week ones and I’m never successful with how strict it is. Also really love having this forum where you can feel held accountable. I may be up in weight, but if I succeed this time will be at goal weight ?
