Get ready for the final weigh in! Once the game ends tonight at midnight PST, you have until 11:59PM PST on Jan 30 to submit your final weight. If you're a winner, you'll be asked to submit photos and will get a new weigh-in word when you visit the weigh-in screens.

Submit early to make sure your photos are accepted, and remember - don't eat that cupcake until you get an email that your photos are approved! (If you don't get one, check your spam folder.) You must have an approved weigh-in in order to be declared a winner.

The game will finalize 24-36 hours after all weigh-ins have been submitted. Good luck!

For the final weigh in do we have a picture? And where do we get the word? Or is that only if you’ve achieved your goal? 1st time so a little confused :see_no_evil:

Referee Audrey R.

Hi Mel! If you have hit your goal, your final weigh in will require photos, yes. If you didn't hit your goal, photos are not required.

So I’m already below the goal weight with 8 days to go, looking forward to trying to doubling up over these last few days.

I will say I’ve been running a lot more and much longer lifting sessions. One downside to all the running is I forgot how awful inner thigh chaffing feels… nothing like soap on my micro cuts… feels amazing…

Keep up the amazing work y’all, you’ve got this!

I've gotten the gold bond friction defense for my husband before! Chafing stinks, sorry you're struggling with that.

Compression shorts might help with that!

How do you guys cope with the scale not reflecting all of your hard work? I committed myself to 6 weeks of consistency but it’s becoming hard to stay motivated and I’m starting to think I’ll lose this dietbet. 14 days in: total 1lb gain 😭

I’m not going to lie, my starting weight (265) was super inflated from the holidays and binge eating after my kids go to bed so I thought this would melt off with the changes I’ve made. Previously eating 3500 cals + a day. I would easily down a few slices of pizza, blue cheese, breadsticks and a whole Ben & Jerry’s at night. Was almost completely sedentary sitting to play with the kids, sitting to rock the baby, etc.

- currently eating under 1600/ day (usually around 1400).
- Weighing, measuring and tracking every bite.
- Hiring babysitters to get to the gym every day
- incorporating movement at home (just dance and walking)
- fasting from supper until breakfast (6pm - 9am) I don’t go back downstairs after my kids bedtime.
-10,000 steps, upped water, tracking protein and carbs.
I’m hungry I’m sad, what else should I do? It doesn’t seem worth it to take time from my baby and restrict myself from foods I love to indulge in for no progress. Praying my body gets the memo over the next 4 weeks it

One more comment. Did you double check your calorie intake with a nutritionist?

My BMR (basic calories I need to maintain my current weight of 247ish) is ~1750 calories. If I eat this, I will not lose weight. Not sure what your starting weight is but you may need more of a calorie deficit or more exercise to get you faster results?

Also, it’s not just calories my love. It’s also macros.
- my routine is at least 90g a protein daily
- shoot for 20g of fiber daily
- carbs being less than 50% my total calorie intake
- at least 60-90oz of water daily
- exercise 3-5 times a week
- at least 7 hrs of sleep
- I eat natural foods and minimize any processed or restaurant foods (processed foods have way too many calories and carbs)

My weight fluctuates +/- 2 lbs but I’m good as long as it doesn’t exceed that. I’ve been able to maintain a steady weightloss over the last couple of months. I did not lose weight my first 3 months of my routine change for reference (frustrating but I stuck through it. Realized I was still overeating)

I wish this app let you reply directly to people but I want to say thank you to each of you that took the time to offer support and encouragement! You really talked me off a ledge and even tho I was upset I stayed strong and consistent with my plan and didn’t binge eat or anything! Now 17 days in. I love the ideas about meeting with a nutritionist again and enjoying some non scale victories! I definitely do have more energy which is something I was really looking for with this fitness journey. Thanks all!!

Hey everyone! I need some advice from all the ladies (sorry guys😅). How do you guys stay motivated and on track during your period? I have always struggled with severe cravings and I really want to break that habit, but I think I am so used to overindulging that I honestly don't know what my body is asking for. Any advice would be much appreciated!😁

The 2cd is to keep you plate balanced and eat all your meals timely even if your not hungry.
Vegetable, fruit (pr half a serving), protein, healthy fat (olive oil, nuts, avacado)
With Whole30 in September last year this was what helped me get though it and when it that week and I want to eat everything I've gone back to these and it really helps. (I do add potatoes (russet and sweet), squashes, to my lighter plates so that I'm not craving breads, rice, or pastas.

Thank you for the awesome suggestions! I think I am going to try each suggestions on consecutive days to see which one works best

  • I know this is not a normal post, but I had recently lost my 12 year old dog late Saturday/early Sunday morning. I got him the day after my 18th birthday as a puppy, he was my first dog, and was the absolutely best friend I ever had. It’s been really hard.

I’ve been in this state of not wanting to eat, or wanting to overeat comfort foods, I’ve also been sick for the last few days, nauseous and throwing up. I almost feel defeated at this DietBet because I’m just upset and have no motivation to do anything.
