I want to feel good again, to be healthy and gain confidence, to wear fun clothes again – and for the gym towel to make it all the way around me, even at the hips :-)

This morning I was half a pound away from my dietbet goal! So excited. But also I'm in a pickle y'all. Lol a silly one really. I wanna let loose and have like 2 drinks tonight maybe just to relax at home with hubby, it's been such a stressful work week. I've literally been looking forward to those drinks in my fridge ALL week, and I'm not even a drinker at all. But then I'm terrified of sabotaging myself. 3 days left. ALSO, I'm expecting my period tomorrow so that's another thing possibly in my way of reaching my goal. I'm hoping the bloating doesn't get out of hand. My periods only last 2 days though so hopefully I can keep a hold on it. I hope everyone else is finishing up strong!!!!

If you do your progress weigh-in today, you can reuse it Monday. I'm going to do that only because life is crazy right now. If I have time today!

Kate

You can use a progress weigh in towards final weigh in? I never heard that

This is my first time using DietBet. I signed up, paid the fee, only to wind up with three giant projects on my plate (this tends to mean high stress and high cortisol, plus the habit of high calories to cope)! So, I got started on this game very late last week. It's one of those things where just beginning, weight seems to drop fast, so I'm getting close to the 4% goal simply because of that. All of the stress and fluid build-up melts away. I'm really been mindful about my eating and have focused on lots of veggies, and I'm already feeling better. I hope I can get to the 4% goal in these last three days. On another note, I'm not exactly clear about this site and all it has to offer. Is membership helpful? And what is the difference between DietBet and WayBetter apps? I'm curious what your experience has been and looking for recommendations on moving forward? Thank you, all... I look forward to continuing this journey with you!

  • Trying to figure out why I can’t get past 187.4!!! Grrr Can been anything from hormones, ear infections, antibiotics, bills, work not enough sleep! So curiously I looked at my old step count when I lost my weight last time! I guess working 12-16 hours 5 days weekly adds a lot of steps as a Correction Officer! This is nuts

I always gain during periods of high-stress workloads and less sleep. Perhaps that's all that's holding you there? I hope you can get past it!

I’m going to focus on making sure I get enough water! I think I been drinking too many caffeine unsweetened drinks! So this weekend I’m focusing on recovery & water!

Understand your feeling mine is stuck at 187.4 and 189…. So frustrating!

Whatever it is that you've been doing for a long time, change it up! Surprise your body and make it leave it's status quo zone.
