I’ve gained weight since last week. Exercising more. Eating less. All I’ve done is use Lean by Make Wellness and used Recover after workouts. I’m gonna have to just not eat after 10am.

My maintenance calories with exercise is 1700-1800, right now in a deficit I’m at 1300-1400ish with exercise. Definitely go heavy on protein each meal, and alllll the veggies.

Calendula5

Protein always first. Working out more is not always the answer.

Happy Wednesday!

I’m going to keep saying this because I want it to really stick…

Remember that there is a difference between what you’re trying to accomplish during these four weeks of the DietBet vs. what you’re trying to accomplish long term. In trying to lose a specific amount of weight in a specific time, you have to understand that there will be things you HAVE to give up during this time. You KNOW what you should be avoiding…it simply comes down to what’s more important to you. Your brain controls your cravings and you ARE strong enough to say NO! Remind yourself daily, every hour if needed (set an alarm on your phone) WHY you’re doing this.

In taking these next three weeks to work towards or accomplish a specific goal, you’re learning and setting yourself up for sustainable habits after the DietBet is over. We’re not doing this so you can simply go back to what you were doing before…we’re working on changing your behavior and mentality. YOU GOT THIS!!

👊?💙??

I needed this. I’m eating better and working out and not losing much. Can I go down to maybe 600 calories a day? I don’t want to lose my money.

ElleJ

Thank you! I needed to hear this! I tend to be an all or nothing person. I'm just going to chip away at it, one day at a time. I lost weight during December, so I know I can do this!

How long does it take for the initial weigh in to be approved? My first was rejected due to not being able to see through my legs (the floor). But it’s been over two hours since I resubmitted new photos (after I had eaten an egg).

There's probably a lot of submissions with it being new year. Did you get the email stating new one was received?

ChrissyCD

Usually couple hours after they email to say they received it & are reviewing it. But considering how many people are in this group , it may take a longer.

My first photos were not approved, and then when I didn’t all again, I had started eating breakfast. Will that mess everything up?

Oh boy. I guess if it takes that long to approve, I’m gonna be 5 pounds heavier (water, coffee, eggs).

ChrissyCD

the weigh in doesn't have to be today. Just try again tomorrow morning. There will be a new weigh in word to use however.

Weigh in submitted. I’ve lost 120 lbs in 2025 and down to my last 5-10 lbs. Doing this challenge to get to goal and the extra money to put towards skin removal. Also hoping to win the big prize to train with Joel & Megan. I’ve done his programs this last year and they’ve helped me so much in my weight loss process. Hoping to continue to gain more muscle & tone up. Let’s goooo!!!
