Okay... I'm late to the party this time, but I really need to get a handle on my weight. I won my last dietbet, but after a couple of busy weekends, I've undone all my hard work ? Time to get back on track!!

I’m with you. Here’s to getting back on track and having success with this diet bet!

Monday, I will exercise-walk!
Writing this everywhere, to keep myself accountable.
Friday night is off every week.
Saturday night, I didn't walk. A friend was over, so I let it slide.
Sunday night, busy video-calling family plane rides away (Zooming and Teaming...used to be Skype). So, it's not happening again.
And just like that, 3 days have gone by without exercise-walking.
Failing is SOOOO easy, while succeeding takes quite a bit of focus & planning.

You are not alone, I have confidence you will succeed ✨️

Way to get back on the horse. You didn’t fail. Failing is ONLY if you quit for good.

Started off doing well today. A colleague brought cookies and put them in the office. I would normally have one right away, then keep coming back once I had the first one. I didn’t take that first one and it was way easier the rest of the day to not take one.

Great strategy. I find once I leave my diet, I can pack it up, I’m going to eat everything not nailed down in the kitchen.

Marjie

Good job, sugar makes you more hungry for sugar.

Really trying to focus on my nutrition and decided to cut out caffeine and a few other things to see if they are triggering inflammation and whatnot. I went from multiple cups of coffee, pre workout at least once a day, and tea (note, I was still drinking more than a gallon of water a day as well) to NOTHING. I thought my head was going to explode yesterday…. I’m prepared to have a single cup of coffee today if the headache returns, but MAN that was a wake up call to how much caffeine I have been taking in.

I “gave up” caffeine on August 4th. I did so to try to get rid of a potential migraine trigger. It’s been nine months. I still have the occasion can of pop, but I’ve noticed a noticeable decrease in headaches.

Jodi G.

I did have some really bad headaches to start though! You can do it!
