Day 21 ✨
Three weeks down. One to go.

This last stretch is where the mind games kick in the part where you start wondering if it’s working, if it’s worth it, if you’ve done enough. And the truth is, you probably have. You’ve shown up. You’ve made choices that your past self wouldn’t have. You’ve built habits that will outlast this challenge.

I’m not chasing perfection anymore; I’m chasing consistency.
Because the scale doesn’t show how many times I said no to old habits, or how often I showed up when I didn’t feel like it. But I know. And that counts for everything.

So as we head into the final week, I’m proud not because it’s been easy, but because I’m still here. Still showing up. Still pushing forward.

Definitely HUMP day for me today! Did some walking again on my lunch break. Wanted to do more when I got home but that was my mistake. Anyone else have more of a hard time working out from home? I mean, we have weights & equipment in our patio. So it SHOULD be easy…yeah RIGHT! Too many distractions, I KNEW I should’ve just went to the gym. Now my motivation is gone for the night. Hoping tomorrow is better!

I get it- me too with weights at home, but I find if I set a time to do it & tell myself just 15 minutes then I’m more likely to do it & usually go longer.

Happy Monday everyone!! New day to start something new. Today I PLAN to work on my core when I get home from work. Had my morning walk at break and it felt like my 15mins zoomed by! I’m hoping that means the day flies by!

Intermittent fasting- I have done it in the past. Trying it again because despite tracking everything, increasing my exercise & being in a calorie deficit the scale is not moving:rage: I’m thinking it’s because I’ve been doing weights & I’m retaining fluid, but we’ll see.

Happy Saturday everyone!! Hope we all are still in this and keep pushing ourselves to be better than we were yesterday!! I made it to the gym without my biggest supporter, my hubby! Today he had to work and it was my first own test to see if I’d wanna stay in my comfy bed and get going. ?
Anyhow, let’s all make good choices today and if by chance we make a few bad ones, let us remember we are only 1 decision away from turning it around!!

  • I work in an office where I sit most of my 8hrs a day Monday through Friday. Decided to add my resistance band to strengthen my hip (osteoarthritis ain’t no joke!) . So far so good…trying to add more movement to my day besides walking on my breaks…hope all of us remember to stay positive and don’t give up no matter where we’re at in this bet. I’m here and my biggest competitor is ME. Pushing myself each day and if it gets too hard, it’s ok…I push myself harder the next day. ????

  • Day 10 and I’m leaning into the tiny wins.
    Not every day has to be about perfection, or hitting every single goal. Tonight I’m choosing the simple things: cooking a real dinner instead of skipping, drinking another glass of water, taking a short walk to clear my head, and going to bed earlier than usual. Tonight I made a shrimp & potato skillet with broccoli! Protein, carb and some veggies!

    It’s those small choices that build momentum the kind that carries us through the harder days when motivation feels low. Day 10 is a reminder that the journey is really just a string of repeated little decisions. The scale will follow, but the habits come first.

    If today felt messy for you, it’s okay. You can still end the day with one win that sets the tone for tomorrow. Finish the night strong with me what’s your tiny win going to be? 💪

It was delicious! Added mashed black beans, pico de gallo with cactus, crumble cheese and a little crema’ w/green salsa. 1 was more than enough and it was filling! I’ll be making this again even well after the diet bet game is over. I needed something crunchy and it was just PERFECT!!
