    As we head into this week, be kind to yourself and be proud of your decision to make your health a priority.

    A few tips for these final days:
    -Stick to your plan; don’t make any drastic changes
    -Keep moving - get those steps in!
    -Limit salt
    -Drink plenty of water
    -Get enough sleep (rest is so important!)

    Whether you're crushing your goal or struggling a bit, please keep in mind that PROGRESS is the real win. Any changes you can say you've noticed since the game started - that's what you should focus on. What have you learned about yourself? What little victories have you accomplished? It's not all about the scale (yes, the game is determined by the little numbers by your feet, but they don't determine your worth, your happiness, or what you're capable of).

    Dig deep and don’t give up this week! Make it your final push, but also look at how far you've come!

  • I didn't intend to be mia in this game. I've been having medical issues and completing coursework. I actually gained weight and am buckling down, eating whole foods, and a heart healthy diet. I need to get more water and phase out coffee, too. No more caffeine. But, on a positive note, I know what to do to get it done, and it is attainable. This week, I finished my Certified Tactical Conditioning Specialist course and received my Elite Trainer certificate from ISSA. I also have one for Certified Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, and Online Coach. I'm currently working on Certified Health Coach. With all that knowledge, there's no excuse! I just needed to see this written down and get busy in between work and training, Bear. Hope you all are having a successful week!

Do you target a workout and amount of time.

Taking it 3 days at a time is a great idea! That seems like a manageable amount of time without being too overwhelming.

I typically do 16:8 but I'm flexible with it. Some days I feel like I can go longer, and other days I wake up hungry so I eat sooner lol.

Sharing personal Instagrams is okay - our policy is more against if you are selling anything :)

  • We had thunderstorms, and I have so much coursework, I'm at my desk grazing. So far, I've managed 3300+ steps and am staring at my dumbells, pilates bar, and bands. 😂 the struggle is real. Reality will hit after I log my food & beverage! Pictured is a gf bun (toasted and open-faced), with sautéed arugula, spinach, grape tomatoes (halved), diced ham, sharp cheddar cheese and free range chicken eggs from my friends hens.
