Ugh, I’m getting to that goal but it sure ain’t easy. Missing so many favorite (but unhealthy) foods. Focus, focus, focus… it’s what I’m trying to do. 🍎 🍌 ? ? ?

Try to find recipes for a healthier version of the foods you miss. It's a lifestyle not a diet. Because you can't go back to the way you used to eat before getting to your goal. :wink:

My workouts had been inconsistent so I had started a new program. I've worked out everyday!!! Including the stretching/mobility. On to day 9. 😃 I did like the other program, but I think I was ready for something shorter. Still get that lifting burn with less time spent.

Oooh, tell us your secret! I am always looking for shorter programs that offer the same burn. I only had 15-20 mins this morning so I did a 30 min video and jumped to the cooldown early.

I've started doing 25 minute speed train on Beachbody and I really like it! If I'm super short on time however, I follow and joined Dr. Livingood on Facebook and he has 10 minute workouts. But you have to be a member to access those.

I used baby powder on non hair wash days, dries up the scalp sweat and I smell fresh as a daisy too?:laughing:

These are amazing ideas! It is for sure sweaty and I don't want to go to work smelling. But I like the dry shampoo/baby powder idea

Yesterday's lunch was a spinach, mint chocolate protein powder, and coconut milk /water smoothie and some sauteed mushrooms and asparagus in ghee. I didn't take a picture because it was pretty green/brown. :joy: But yummy :yum:

After being inconsistent with my workout program for 2 weeks, I decided to scrap it and start a new one. It's a little shorter on time. So maybe that will be easier. 25 minute speed train on Beachbody. I was doing Dig Deeper. I love it, but I always start to slack around the 5 week mark.

I love beach body! I used 21 day fix to lose 40lbs of baby weight 3x. I still use it to maintain. If I stick to the meal plan I will lose weight. It’s all about portion control. You got this!

  • Hello everyone! Our game officially starts today and i'm so ready to stay accountable with you! For those of you who may not know me my name is Lexi (fatgirlfedup). I joined my first dietbet in 2016 and it helped me to lose 312lbs in two years with diet/exercise. No meal plan, surgery, personal trainer, but just counting my calories, focusing on my diet with 30-60 mins of exercise 5x a week in the beginning. Here's a few things to get started:
    - Welcome! Together we are losing pounds and have become a community full of love, encouragement, and support! It brings me great joy to host and I love being part of such a positive weight loss space. We will have others joining us for 2 weeks so be sure to invite friends,family, and coworkers. You may literally save their life just by getting them to join in on the fun!
    - Diet is key! I use myfitnesspal to track all the food i'm eating and it helped me learn about nutrition labels, log my water/workouts, and showed me my progress!
    - MOVE! Try to get atleast 30 minutes of exercise 4-5x a week even if it's just walking. Every step adds up! I started with the elliptical 5x a week in the beginning as I was 485lbs and it helped me to not kill my knees. Start where you can and just focus on moving daily.
    - WATER is your best friend! I aim to drink a gallon a day. Water helps to keep you full, boost your metabolism, and can even help your skin while losing weight!
    - Let's be friends! Be sure to tag #fatgirlfedupsdietbet on all social media so we can find & cheer each other on!
    - PICTURES. Sometimes the scale doesn't tell the full story so be sure to take ALL the before pictures. I promise you WILL want them and we can't wait to see your transformation!

It's been forever since I've done a Diet bet! Even though I have made great strides physically and mentally, lost about 50 pounds, I've been stuck most of this year. Well it's time to break that plateau!!!
