    - Miso veggie soup

    - 1 egg
    - sautéed baby dutch potatoes with shallots
    - avocado
    - cottage cheese
    - white kimchi
    - roasted nori seaweed sheet


    Not feeling too well today but I'll see if I can get some steps in today or some sort of exercise.

I’m considering going vegan but want to make sure I have plenty of energy for workouts. Recovering from knee injury so trying to eat clean. I am trying to keep a good balance so I don’t gain it all back plus some like I did on last challenge. Any tips encouraged :)

I am just trying to eat a little cleaner and lose a couple of pounds before our vacation- to be more mindful. Jennifer L- are you vegetarian? If not maybe try that 3 days per week and then more etc. Then later add on 3 days of vegan eating. There is the whole 30 book- but I think that has some meat- they do have a vegetarian version also- for 30 days.

Lift weights, do cardio.

Eat mostly lean meats and vegetables.

That’s about it!

Cut out sugar and try to eat limited processed foods. Try to get movement in of some type everyday.

  • Happy day 2! The store I work at has a restaurant but serves a different menu for employees. Today’s option was chicken curry and I don’t eat meat so I pieced together some things from the salad and grabbed a cup of Moroccan lentil soup (we’re having an early summer storm here in Denver and this reaaaaallllyyyy hit the spot).

    I weighed out for a different game this morning so I’m going to go get myself a little (actually little) end-of-game/birthday treat (it was last week but I didn’t indulge bc of the game). Good luck this month!

Happy birthday! I’m thinking of giving up meat as well but not sure what food options I might be able to do when out of the house so love seeing healthy options that actually look good too!
