I think there was an error in the prize payout amount. 75% of ppl won leaving $770 to split. Did Jenn / dietbet keep the entire amount? This is shady and bad business.

Dietbets are really for the accountability for yourself and the encouragement from others in the game. It's all about you losing weight and getting healthy for yourself. It's not intended for a person to make money off of.

Here’s how the numbers worked out for this game:

The total pot was $3,080

DietBet takes 25%, which came to $770

That left $2,310 to split between the 66 winners

2310 ÷ 66 = $35.00 per winner

That’s actually a really high win rate for a game, awesome job to everyone who hit their goal! Since so many people won, there wasn’t anything extra to split this time. I know it can feel a little frustrating, especially with DietBet’s cut, but they do provide the platform that keeps it all running. Just wanted to explain how it all adds up.

I really pushed myself to do this while out of town- the water was easy, the activity was too as I opted walks instead of transportation but the F&Vs was tough- I did it by adding veggies, choosing the vegetarian dishes and having fruit with breakfast. :white_check_mark:
