Depends on how long it takes to finalize everyone’s weigh ins. I submitted just before the deadline last night but had to re-submit today and they give you 12 hours to resubmit if the initial isn’t approved after the deadline.
I fast for 28 hours straight and then eat whatever I want within 1 hour.
Your body burns fat significantly faster after 24 hours of fasting. I try to push myself past 24 hours as much as I can. 28 hours seems safe to do regularly. I usually have one day a week where I don't fast.
By consuming all of your calories in 1 hour, it's very unlikely for you to consume in excess. You are still bound to be in a calorie deficiency, which is crucial for weight loss. This also prevents you from snacking unnecessarily during your break from fasting and also gives you more focus to plan your 1 hour of eating since you have 28 hours to think of your next meal.
I have all my food ready or near ready when the hour comes!
I am starting 4/3. Eat Fri, Sat Sun, Mon one week, then Thu Fri Sat Sun the next. Fasting the other 3 days. I will do it for a month, but I think then I will try the 28/1. Thanks for sharing it.
Omg it’s taking that long?! I’m waiting to eat until my weight is verified. I can’t wait that long. I guess I’m going to eat and hope my weight is still down tomorrow if I have to reweigh.
