Happy Wednesday! Had a rough day yesterday with emotional eating but just gonna start fresh today. Its a brand new day and im not giving up because of 1 bad day. Since I have started my weight loss (June 1st) that has been 1 of my goals...to not give up because of a bad day. I use to say well I already messed up so might as well eat the (______). Its ok to have bad days!!! Who else is starting fresh today with a new day mindset?

I sadly won’t make this weigh in and I just found out my company is dismantling, so stress is at an all time high. I know there are two paths I can take with all these feelings and I’m hoping to take the positive road and continue to be the best version of myself as stress rains down. I’ll feel better if I fuel myself appropriately (with the small side of stress cheese eating) and working out instead of laying in bed waiting to be fired and eating McDonald’s and dominos.

That sucks! I remember being in a similar situation. The good news is once it is over, that loud background noise stops. Do your best to ride this out. Remember to breath and find your happy place.

as hard as it is go to the gym and run the stress, walk off the stress, swim off the stress… pray about it give your worries to God and he will make things right for you…

Just for other opinions I'm asking on here, what's everyone's opinion on intermediate fasting? I'm thinking of trying it since my weight loss has slowed down. I'm going to try it for a couple of weeks and see it works.

I am doing it. The scale is going down for the first time in a few years. I feel great, I don't have sugar cravings and feel energized again.

I tried this three weeks ago for the first time and dropped 3lbs the first week!
It’s a little hard for me every day due to my east coast work hours while living on the west coast but it’s worth the mental gymnastics

I don't think I'll make weight. But I made some progress. I still haven't won a dietbet yet. Maybe I'll have enough momentum from this one to just roll into another game instead of waiting awhile? TBD.

I’m with you there!
I’ve lost a few pounds and started getting healthier days in but I won’t be able to make weight (unless I can drop 3lbs in 4 days)

  • Oh my goodness I do not want to get off my couch again today.
