  • I woke up weighing 199.8 which is huge. Lost 7.8 pounds. The other thing is that I had my period and with my adenomyosis, my pain was bad, I did stay home, haven’t walked because weather is poop and I looked 6 months pregnant last week. I knew I was weighing more than before I started the challenge so I decided NOT TO WEIGH myself and just cruise through. I said to myself: not the time to weigh. Let’s wait for the inflammation to go down.

    Anyway. I feel happy.

  • So proud of myself! Met my goal weight for round 1, did 4 weeks of a Step Bet outside walking at least 2.5 miles everyday in January and did dry January with no slip ups! Consistency is key! My house sends it love! Burrr it’s cold out!

I do so good when I am at work, so during the week, I am great. The weekend is when I seem to falter. I am going to try to keep my diet where it needs to be for this 3 day weekend coming up.

Plan your weekend meals ahead of time and prep them Saturday morning if you can. Don’t let you weekend be your weak end.

Same here. In laws, family dinner, lots of good cooks! Definitely harder with the extra time.

  • 💧 Welcome to Hydration Week! 💧

This week, we’re focusing on one of the most powerful (and underrated) habits for feeling good: drinking enough water. Hydration supports everything: energy levels, digestion, workouts, focus, mood, and even hunger cues. Sometimes when we think we’re hungry or tired, our body is really just asking for water.

A few gentle ways to build hydration into your day:

💧Start your morning with a full glass of water before anything else
💧Keep a reusable bottle nearby so water is always within reach
💧Flavor your water with lemon, cucumber, mint, berries, or electrolyte packets
💧Pair water with habits you already have (before meals, after the bathroom, post-workout, during work breaks)
💧Sip throughout the day instead of trying to “catch up” all at once

You don’t need to aim for perfection. Progress and awareness are the goals. Every sip counts, and small changes add up fast! 💙

👉 Question: What’s one thing that helps you remember to drink more water?

Taking my meds with water. I always drink extra.

Keeping water handy all the time, so I'm visually seeing it all the time to remind me to drink more.

Where is everyone hoping to be when this game is over? My transformer goal would put me right where I want to be for maintenance so my goal is to win the dietbet and stay within that range long term in a healthy way. I already lost 46 lbs last year so this is just continuing the journey.

Once I win this DietBet, I’ll still have 20 pounds to go to be at my goal weight. But hey, it’s the journey that counts. That’s what I’m trying to think about. Not trying to quickly get there just trying to change habits and add new habits.

Amy K.

I lost 87 pounds ten years ago and have kept off about 65. It’s a daily awareness. I really want to get back down to my lowest. So 20 pounds is my goal for this transformer.
