Newbie here! I’ve done step bets for years but I need to really motivate myself to lose my Covid lose weight. Yes it’s been 5 years and I will never stop blaming my weight on those awkward times. Any tips or advice?

Drink lots of water, track calories with a free app like Lose it or My Fitness Pal, try to get in 30-60 min of exercise/activity a day.

I don’t have a lot of advice about meal prepping but when I’m “in the zone” my go to breakfast is 3/4 cup plain Quaker Oats, one sliced banana, fresh or frozen blueberries, 1/4 cup sliced almonds, cinnamon. When I’m not in a hurry prefer to cook on the stove but can be done in microwave as well. Then during the day (I’m a bad snacker) anytime I feel like reaching for a snack I drink a bottle of water first then if I still feel like I’m hungry I have an apple or a clementine. I recently started using Isopure protein powder to help get extra protein and also help with sweet cravings. Don’t really like any of the creamy protein drinks. The watermelon lime is my favorite. Kind of hard to mix but if you have a nutribullet or similar drink mixer, fill the cup 1/2 way up with ice, then add the powder, then add the water, it blends really nicely. Good luck :)
