Fav healthy meals- grilled chicken or tuna salad for lunch everyday and then for dinner I alternate every few days is grilled chicken/shrimp/salmon with spinach/asparagus/broccoli and cauliflower rice /yams / mash

I've been up and moving more every day and I've been eating a ton more veggies and drinking more water.

I have also committed to drinking my water (80 oz) daily and have met that goal consistently! I have also committed to working out a minimum of 4 days a week and have met or exceeded that goal since the beginning of the year.

  • Happy Monday! A saying that I learned while I was losing weight was, 'You Earn Your Body'. This was so encouraging to me! It made me think of all of my healthy choices as earning my body. And that is true. But then I realized that when I make less healthy choices - such as skipping a workout, or having a treat that I didn't budget in - that those are also ways to 'earn your body'... just not the one that I want. ;)

    You can use this to inspire you to make great choices and to help resist temptation!

I changed up my work schedule so instead of going to work at 5:00 a.m. I go to the gym and get my cardio in before work. It makes me feel great to get the day started that way

I’m trying really hard to listen to my body better. We cook really clean and always have, but I eat too much. No sugar, no processed foods. It’s all organic, delicious, whole food, but I find myself loading my plate and then going back in for seconds! That’s my big battle now. Things just taste like more, ya know?

Happy New Year!
Well I'm weighed in at the weight I was Jan 2024. My overall goal for this year is to be out of the 300s (SW: 343lb). I realized in the last few months of 2024 that I am truly the only person who can make the changes I want, no matter what is going on around me.
