I am loving arms/shoulders when facing a mirror. I see the division of my shoulder muscle while doing bicep curls (full or wide) and it’s so motivating. Non-scale victories matter and this one is one of my favorites.

Legs = dunzo. I went to a gym and forgot my loops for the burnout. The gym had resistance bands, so I grabbed the heavy resistance band, stepped on it, crossed the handles, pulled up for the right resistance, and made it work. It felt good to have some different weights and to get it done.

Happy final week all! Yesterday was a more relaxed day nutrition wise, but I didn’t overdo it. Truthfully, I’m ok with it, which is growth. I overate in terms of calories, but I didn’t feel gross. And I’m ok with it. Today and the rest of the week, I’ll be more dialed in to finish strong. Plus, maybe those extra calories helped me push during legs this morning. 😁

Extra mile walk later today to end my school year (our district has a 5K event for staff at the end of the year), which will hopefully help with leg soreness.

I hope you’re all proud of yourself, no matter what the numbers are saying. You’ve committed to 4 weeks and you’re almost done. No matter what, you’ve been intentional with what you’ve been doing. I guarantee you’ve learned more about yourself. You’ve grown. You’re all amazing!! 💪?❤

10 Rounds Week 4 Lower Body done. Last day of school here and I’m hoping today’s workout helps with management of the emotions that come up with the last day. Excitement for summer. Sadness over changing schools next year for one of my kids. Bittersweetness for myself as a school employee saying by to the kids I’ve worked with all year for the summer. It’ll be a good day all around.

  • I missed my workouts starting on Thursday last week because I was going from 6:30am until 9pm every day, but I did exceed 10k steps each day (walks with the puppy definitely help there), and lost 2.5 lbs last week, which has me on track to meet the goal! I picked back up from where I stopped on the calendar last week to continue today. Which means LM SB W1 Legs. Holy crap, my glutes are already sore and I know it will get worse.

I had vodka, more than one:relaxed:and gained 1 of the 5.8 lbs I had lost as of Friday, which was bananas, so I am happy with a 4.8 loss for last week. My expectations for this week are lower, hoping for 2lbs, which seems more reasonable than last week!

How is everyone losing weight this quickly!?! I am tracking my food, hitting my macros (110g protein daily) and nothing is happening. I'm SO frustrated.

Week 2 let’s go! Following the calendar, it was fun to come back to LIIFT4 for the day. However, tricep pushups still suck. 😂 When it’s been a while since I’ve done them (which it has), I often start on the ground on my knees but end up against the wall for the last set(s). No shame - they’re spent!
