How do you log a mixed meal into trackers correctly?
I made a beef stir fry with mixed vegetables...

I put the custom meal in and tried to divide it to a portion that I had of it, I'm not sure that I did it correctly and if I did it's not the most accurate for sure,
And it took forever to do!!
I am really liking looking over the data and trying to figure out how much to eat to get the most energy. Even though for the first couple days I had keto on and was trying to consume 90+ grams of fat!! Lol

It sounds like you did it right—or at least the way I do it! It is a little time consuming at first to enter the recipes with all of the ingredients, etc but once I had my usual recipes entered, it got a lot quicker!

  • Today was HARD….. the FOOD NOISE was LOUD, they had pizza and cookies at work, I didn’t even have a bite. My daughter offered me my favorite lemon pie, politely declined.

Everyday I will walk a little more each day ….. so far so GOOD ;)

Tomorrow is gonna be very HARD, one of my coworkers is having a birthday party …. gonna take my prepped food and drink a lot of water

    …. WE GOT THIS

This is my balcony, I try to CALM my SOUL for atleast 5-20 before I go to work. And sometimes quiet the FOOD NOISE when it hits the HARDEST during the evening.

Is there a special workout calendar everyone is using? I started the workouts a day late and I was doing the lift more super block.

There's a calendar using a mix of Joel's programs, see the first post above to message them if you haven't gotten it

  • I've been coming up short in my Fats, wanted to add something to my smoothie with fat.... avocado was recommended and I have some.... I was afraid to do it, thought'd be weird. But it's not bad!!

Still short on my Fats though, I'll have to check and make sure I've got everything in the app set up correctly. but this is simple truth plant based protein powder (20 grams of protein, 3 grams carbs, 1 gram fat)
a scoop of creatine powder, ice, water and an AVOCADO!

Update! My targets were based on keto!?! I was going for 90 grams of fat/day!! I'm still trying to figure it out but I'm thinking ratio should be chosen, just not sure of the ratio.. I'm reading the cronometer manual now trying to figure it out

  • I did it!! I am very much a beginner (and injured) so I had to figure out some modifications.
In the past I would get frustrated if I could not do exactly what they were doing on the screen, which would usually leave me to stop doing them altogether.

So a positive note to being injured is that is teaching me to do me rather than be perfect... I almost skipped today and I'm so glad that I did it! Definitely helping to instill this little lesson, didn't use weights and modified a ton on most of the moves AND I still got a great workout!

How often do you all weigh yourselves? I have a terrible relationship with it and find myself stepping on each day and night..I know this is bad esp since I’m up weight after eating my 3 healthy meals today.

I weigh daily - the number on the scale is just a data point it gives me information like I maybe had too much sodium or something I ate gave me inflammation or I had too many treats.

I compare my weight on Mondays to the previous Monday weight for weight loss

Sarah-Louise H.

I see it the same as Anne....a data point. I weigh daily, but try not to worry too much if it goes up slightly, and just use that as a prompt to think on what I ate the day before that might have caused it. Or, if it's the day after leg day, (especially L4 or LM!) I 100% anticipate an increase due to muscles holding water. I only log my weight once a week though.

Not that I follow the program but 2B Mindset nutrition program actually encourages daily weighing for that exact reason.... use it as feedback on your day.

I don't think it's necessarily about needing to stop daily weight checks, but more about rewiring how you treat it. Remember, your worth is but based on a value on the scale

Something else to be mindful of is your body composition, especially if lifting heavy with something like L4 or LM. I'm the heaviest I've ever been but definitely not the biggest. I went for a health check end of last year, and felt stupid walking in since my weight was the same (the previous one I said I'd lost some).... turns out I'd lost 6.3% body fat!.... the scale just doesn't show that change.
