  • Soy chicken salad for an easy Mother’s Day lunch! Also did 15 min yoga this morning as a recovery day.

Looks great!

To answer your question, most of the time weighing food is based on raw/dry or uncooked weights. If you're using a tracker, like MyFitnessPal, it'll usually default to the raw or dry weights, though you'll sometimes see "as prepared" which means to look at the label of the product.

But in general, 6 oz chicken breast is assumed to be raw, unless otherwise specified. 2 oz pasta noodles is 2 oz precooked, which once cooked would be substantially heavier.

Hope this helps!

Finished Day 6, L4 Legs HIIT. Been pretty on point with diet this week. Will be stepping on the scale shortly for an unofficial progress weight, but I feel better and stronger and clothes are starting to fit better. Not following this nutrition plan, but tracking everything in MyFitnessPal and doing some hybrid 5:2 / IF work since it works well for me when trying to cut.

  • Dinner! First time making a frittata. Added onion, zucchini, peppers, spinach, rotisserie chicken and some hot sauce.

Well, I just completed what is Day 5 of the schedule. Having not done the LIIFT More SB, I wasn't totally sure what to expect. I'd done L4 and LM, but never the SB. Joel really crams a ton into a pretty short workout. Absolutely destroyed me and my back (in a good way). The HIIT shot my HR up as it should, and continued until the 2nd core move. Staying in high plank for the first HIIT move and the first core move is evil and genius. Slight lean evil.

Running a modified 5:2 Diet + meal tracking in my fitness pal and has yielded great results in the past. I've found that 2 days a week (non-consecutive) of fast until dinner is really easy and effective for me when properly motivated. I don't think about food until I eat my first bit, so if my first bit is at 630pm on my fasting days, I'm good to go! High protein and plenty of veggies on those days. Normal macro targets the rest of the week.

Feeling great - a little sore from yesterday's workout, but I'm happy to be lifting heavy again. Thank you!

Trying hard to dial in my nutrition and focus on water and sleep. I had my right hip replaced 19Feb and the left one 17Apr so I still have a lot of restrictions on movement, making any cardio basically impossible. Thinking of trying the upper body portion of Liift4 sitting on my bench, just so I can get Something done! Any guidance or suggestions are welcome!

Weigh-in officially approved! First time trying DietBet. Been a couple years since I was consistently exercising and eating right. Had a ton of success, but when my wife got pregnant in 2023, I kinda went off the rails, gained about 50 lbs during her pregnancy and in the first year since my daughter was born. Dropped about 20 of those lbs since August of 2024, but still have a ways to go.

I won't lie, I've been working ahead since my schedule really only allows for 4 days a week, so I just finished the 3rd workout on the calendar. Biceps Swimmers are every bit as evil as shoulder swimmers. That's all I have to say about that workout.

Looking forward to the added motivation with all of you!

Can someone please share the first workout for tomorrow? I didn't get the links before they were removed and haven't received the email containing them. Dietbet says they can take 1-3 days to respond and I don't want to mess up on the first day. Thank you!!
