  • How’d my fellow peri/menopause warriors do?

Cause at 51, the struggle was real for me to get that scale to move.

There were days I’d be up 3lbs, down the next 2lbs, then up 5lbs. Despite tracking food, running, lifting, all of it.

Proud of all of you! We hung in there despite our bodies maybe not cooperating like it would 5-10 years ago.

    Lost 7lbs

I don’t weigh every day usually but leading up to the finish, I was just checking in. I wasn’t sure I’d make it. I was up 3 lbs on Saturday despite being dialed in.

Joel and Megan, Thank you so much for this challenge! I honed in my eating and lost more than my 4%. Goal was 5.3lbs and I'm down 8.2lbs. My weight was slowly creeping up. Definitely the bite here, bite there girl. Honed that in and only ate my containers (I follow portion fix). Workouts were on point. I upped my step goal from 12,000 to 16,000 per day. Feeling great! This was such a fun challenge to be a part of during the month of May.

I am looking for an app that will do all the work for me to calculate my calories and give me recipes to support the daily intake. And that doesn't cost a fortune. Any suggestions? My nutrition is the hardest part for me, it literally gives me stress to have to figure out how many calories are in my meals. I am either eating too much or not enough.

MyFitnessPal Premium does a good job and has meal plans.

I like the Lose It! app. Good luck!

  • Training for a really unique mountain race on July 4th; only 5k but 3000 foot elevation gain. It's an average 35% incline & brutal to the untrained legs and lungs. As of March 1st, I was pretty close to "untrained", but with consistency and gradual training frequency/intensity increases, I think I might be making some impressive improvements. I'd love advice for nutrition and recovery; im still trying to shed fat while building strength.

I don't have any advice. Just wanted to say this is amazing! You are going to feel so accomplished and proud after finishing that challenge!

Same! My husband and I eat the same foods everyday. We do have a little variety in dinner. It just makes life easier when you're not having to constantly plan different meals.

That's all that matters is that it works for you!

Hi everyone! I haven't seen an option to do a weekly weigh in. This is my first one in about 5 years and thought that was a requirement. Is that still the case?

Thanks! Just didn't want to get disqualified

Julia W.

I think it's optional. You're only required to do Start and Finish weight in.

  • Super happy that stuck with 30# weights for all three sets of rows. I wanted so badly to drop set, but I knew I could do it. It was a fight at the end, but o kept my form.?💪?

  • I finished 30 Day Breakaway and ran a 5K this past Saturday. So proud of my results! I will start the hybrid calendar today. So I will be a week behind everyone on those workouts. However, this works out perfect as it will fill the week between the end of the diet bet and the release of 25 Min Speed Training.
