  • Arm day done. Not following calendar to a T but that arm day was good! I see everyone’s comments about hair wash day - today was my hair wash day as well - my advice - better wash today because we know day 2 is worse! Haha!! Happy Friday everyone! Rest day tomorrow as I’m out of town watching daughter in volleyball tourney all day! 💪

I am so sore that I am literally in pain. I was almost in tears today my legs hurt so bad. I woke up with every turn last night. I’ve only done two workouts, 10 Rounds: week 1, days 1 and 2. Do I take another rest day or just work through the pain? I don’t want to make it worse, but I feel like this is what I signed up for. This is just so weird to me. I’ve been sore before, but not in tears sore. I had to take the stairs at work one at a time, going sideways and holding onto the had rail. On my second trip downstairs I used the elevator. 😭

As much as it sucks, movement is still best. I would find something more upper body focused and taking warm baths may help.

  • Day 2 fat blast done. This workout went by way quicker than legs yesterday. I really struggle with pushups. Does anyone else struggle? My forearms feel more gassed than my chest but don’t know how to engage the chest more otherwise I’d prob never be able to do one ????

I’m glad to hear you do what you can instead of doing one at all - which is how many I like doing. But I also just modify most!

  • LIIFT4-now I remember these workouts and hating Joel 😉 thank god stretching was on the floor so I wouldn’t have to use my arms. Holding the phone for this photo was hard ? Felt great though!

Our stats are very close - my heart rate was about 10beats higher. I didn’t realize we can rate the effort so thx for showing that - hard is definitely the answer on that!!

  • Day 1/28 done. Did LM Legs as scheduled. I had never done LM before so I didn’t know the format. The last few hiit movements he was counting down the timer to push through and I kept thinking I would be done but they he added another workout or then it switched to core. OMG I was dying. Lots of modifying through HIIT and core and lots of weight changes in the strength but I pushed through all 46 min as best as I could. That was a longer workout than I’m used to and also never consistent with anything so it was a struggle but I was proud to push play regardless!! This DietBet is going to challenge my consistency for sure!! Great job showing up today team!!

LM can definitely be a shock to the system if you've never done it before. Just remember that a modified workout is just as effective. It's not the amount of work that matters, it's the effort. Way to go pushing through and getting it done
