The past 3 days have been rough…. First week back to work after being off for maternity leave. I did the math and I can still make my goal but I need to not eat my emotions.

Feeling bleh.
We went to dinner with my in laws tonight that was centered around pizza and pasta. The salads didn’t look good PLUS it’s freaking cold… I wanted something warm so I had a treat meal and then stopped eating when I was no longer enjoying the meal. But.. now I feel so heavy. I was feeling so good this week.. and the weekend is alway my weak end..

Ok where the moms at? Stress management with kids?
What about when they wake up in the night still?
I've been able to lose by baby weight but I had weight on me before kids so I am working on that.
I used to stress eat but now that I don't I find that I don't have stress management. I lost my tool! Anyone have tips to manage stress with Littles who have rocked ur whole world?
I am still figuring it out. Mine are under 4.

I've had success with this off and on over the years with 4 kids, but I have two tips. Walking, throw them in a stroller and just go, listen to music or an audiobook if you can swing it. Give them snacks, toys or a show if you need to pull out the big guns. Walk early before breakfast for 45-60 min. Then at night find something to "treat yourself" with to replace the sugary treat. Like painting your nails or herbal tea while you watch a show. You got this mama!

I struggled with a lot of stress due to my own anxiety and something that I found helped me a bunch is adult coloring books. I use to hate coloring but I got some pretty gel pens and a FRIENDS coloring book and at night I would unplug and just sit in bed and color. My mind was too busy trying to figure out what colors I wanted to use and if I wanted sparkles or metallic to even focus on anything else.
