I'm just starting again, mentally ready to lose all this excess weight.
About 245...slowly but surely going to about 175...SEVENTY POUNDS.

This is my first transformer. How many official weigh-ins are there? I'm looking for a set of guidelines for this. Thanks for the help.

There are 6. Welcome this is my second i joined another in Feb but it got too easy. If you click on the top right view all rounds or something you'll see the goals you need to hit for each and by the dates. First 2 months you need to lose 3% each 3rd 2% 4th 1% 5th 1% and 6 maintain but you can also lose more if you're just starting your weightloss journey and it comes off faster. I feel like i have my first transformer in the bag but weight loss is starting to get harder so i decided to join another to really challenge myself.

  • Okay got my sw submitted hopefully accepted and a bonus before pic. I am so nervous about this one. I lost 25lbs this year but for a week straight i cant seem to get my head in the game and then I'm going into the second half of my journey to hopefully bring me to goal which is a weight i havet been since like 21.

    I know these transformers are managable just month 1 and 2 that are a bit harder. I lost weight very easily just staying consistent the first 20lbs i only lost 5lbs in april and i was mostly very focused. I'm just convincing myself to please stay consistent. This is important to me.

    Ive found specificially the warmer weather has made me wana have beers every day and skip meals then end up eating like shit. I got this.

    Time for a mental reset.

This is my first transformer so it's really inspiring to see someone else's success. Keep up the great work!

I relate so hard with the struggle to not have a beer now that we're heading towards BBQ weather. I was just at a cookout yesterday and sad to say I did indulge a bit more than I wanted to. But it's okay, today is another day!

  • Okay one of my more recent photos. I won a 4 week challenge in March and joined another transformer in March. I feel like i got that one in the bag. Ive lost the weight i gained in the year and a half prior 25lbs this year. The real challenge is reaching goal and losing weight in the second half of my journey. Depending on my start weight this challenge should bring me really close to my goal weight if not to it. This one is going to be harder...especially the first 2 months for 3% per month. But this one is really to dig my heels in and keep my momentum going.

    Start Weight Jan 1: 188
    Start weight for the past week (April 14): 164.6 lbs at 41.5% body fat
    End weight for the past week (April 20): 162.1 lbs at 41.3% body fat
    Total lost this past week: 2.5 lbs
    Total lost since start (Jan 1) 25.9 lbs

    Reflection:
    This past week felt balanced overall. I had more beers than usual since tracking, but it was still a lot less than I used to drink. On Saturday, I gave my kids their Easter baskets, and I wasn’t tempted to eat any of the chocolates, which felt great. My choices felt mindful, and I’m happy with the progress I made this past week.

    Milestones hit this past week:
    - I lost 2.5 lbs, which is great progress.
    - I reached 25 lbs lost overall, which feels like a major milestone.
    - My body fat percentage dropped from 41.5% to 41.3%.

    Milestones coming up:
    - I am only 0.6 lbs away from my halfway mark of 161.5 lbs.
    - I am 2.2 lbs away from leaving the 160s and breaking into the 150s, which is exciting.

    Focus for the next 7 days (April 21 – April 27, 2025):
    - I will stick to my plan on the days I don’t have special events, like date night or today’s Easter lunch.
    - I will enjoy date night and Easter lunch in moderation, keeping my overall balance in mind.

Just wondering if anybody in this challenge is here for the support. I made round 1 by the skin of my teeth but I seem to have totally lost track and gone backwards. Anybody here interested in a bit of accountability? I have no idea what form that would take but I clearly need some!

Make sure you're really solid in your eating plan before you try to add in the gym. Weight is not lost at the gym -- it is lost in the kitchen.

Totally 100% agree CruchyFrog. I guess I'm needing more than weight(fat) loss but a more holistic well-being program as well. But your post has motivated me to take stock of what is going in my mouth. And there is def room for improvement!!!

Well tried to take a selfie but it crops to like half my face and tits. Anyway just noticed today i am officially out of the obese bmi and into the overweight. I'm hoping to get into a healthy bmi by the end of this challenge. Nearly 25lbs down since Jan! So happy! 98% complete for round 2! Except i just need to add 0.8lbs for my phone weight.
