Same! Had a good initial weight drop, but plateaued as I started self-sabotaging on weekends. Buckled down in the last month and beat my goal weight be almost a pound. Down to the wire!

  • I’ve switched over to plant based eating during this challenge and am sooo happy! Ive lost 95 pounds over the last 1.5 years and while I didn’t meet the goals for the first few months of this challenge, weight continues to drop slowly but steadily!

Started out strong at the beginning of this challenge, but stalled out. Just barely made the 6% loss (12lbs) to qualify for the last month. Now I have a little more than 7lbs to go. Need to lock it in and drop ~2lbs per week.

Official Progress Weigh-Ins question: I've read through the FAQ for Transformers and it looks like there are mandatory weigh-ins at the Beginning, end of month 5, and end of game.

Does that mean that OTHER official weigh-ins (like at the end of Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr) are only for entering into prize drawings?

This is correct about the monthly weigh-ins not being mandatory for rounds 1-4, but if you hit your monthly goal you definitely want to submit your weigh-in so you receiving winnings for that round.

Also note that $20 is put into the pot for Rounds 1-5 and $20 goes to the Round 6 pot, so winnings for Rounds 1-5 are much lower, then the Round 6 pot is the biggest pot and has much higher winnings.

Maybe make a 1 or 2 week goal...sometimes that feels less overwhelming and more fun to accomplish. And think of how proud Future You will feel when you stick with it.

Right there with you, David - except for me it's Tuesday night platform tennis league (niche outdoor, winter racket sport). Ended up losing over a pound and feeling pretty good about that.

  • This year for Christmas we set up a home gym with a mirror, gym floor, weight bench, and dumbbells in the garage. I decided to give this a shot because the regular gym wasn’t working for me anymore. Best decision ever! I feel so much more comfortable here and now I can hang out with my son while I work out. I wish I invested in home gym equipment earlier. I like doing simple dumbbell style workouts, yoga, and HIIT on the Sweat app.

Interested in any healthy recipes or ideas that don’t include a lot of vegetables 😂. Some I don’t mind but as a meat, cheese and potato guy, I’m looking for options that are an “improvement” compared to my normal diet fully understanding that salads are better.

I tend to stick with smaller changes better so I’m thinking baby steps here. 😂
