I don't know about others, but I have been failing nutrition wise every weekend. Last week, it took me almost an entire week to just get back to where I started. And even though I tried harder this weekend, I'm still 2 pounds up from Friday. I can't seem to get my eating under control, and it's consuming me. Anyone have any advice? Or honestly words of encouragement. Thank you! ❤

The point with a kitchen scale is great. I eat 90% healthy food, but just too much of it! When I am at home

I like to steam a bag of mixed veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots) add cooked shredded chicken and a little cheese. So quick and delicious!

I plan what I’m going to eat in advance and make a big batch of whatever lunch I’m having for the week ( this week it’s egg roll in a bowl) and make sure I have the ingredients ready for dinners and breakfasts.

Been working hard this week to create a calorie deficit each day even if it’s just one calorie. Using MyFitnessPal to track. Eating a little better, definitely being more thoughtful about what and how much I eat. This week was kind of easy because I didn’t have any events or parties to go to. Exercise isn’t a problem. I consistently run, bike, hike and strength train.

Thanks! And yes I plan all of our meals for the week, foodshop in advance and do some preps . I just generally tend to eat more than I should so I am being much more thoughtful about portions and actually create the deficit through exercise.

  • Back in my kitchen tonight and back to basics! Tonight we had garlic herb baked pork chops (we usually do grilled & debated trying them in the airfryer) but they didnt disappoint! We've been using Kinder seasonings lately and really enjoy them! I also had steamed green beans and a small Greek too good brand zero sugar yogurt for dessert! What did you have?

I had chicken and rice. Bland food while I recover from food poisoning!

We had air fried pork chops and zucchini/yellow squash/onion/cheese. Leftovers for lunch today. Dessert was few bites of pineapple and 9 dark chocolate almonds.
