I didn’t focus on diet and exercise this month. Hit goal weight for the round at the beginning. I did win the round with plenty of wiggle room but not much in the way of progress this month. I guess it was like being in maintenance mode.

I’m recommitting myself to be strict again. It won’t be challenging to hit the round goal but I really want to get out of obese BMI and into “overweight.

Debating a kickstarter for extra motivation but it may be hard to lose 4% in a month when I’ve been dieting/losing for several months now. Anyone else doing a kickstarter this month?

No. I can’t do those anymore cos I’ve been losing for 1.5 years and it’s slow and steady. Took me several rounds to start winning even this challenge because I don’t lose a lot at once. Wish the goal steps in these 6 month challenges were spaced out more evenly rather than expecting you lose a lot at first! Good luck to you!

Thanks everyone. I am doing well - hit the next round goal unexpectedly today.

I think 4% in a month would be hard now. Lose is much slower and I go through plateaus and then slow lose. I did overlapping transformers and maybe that’s the way to go - although the first 2 months at 3% each month will be a challenge!

I’m not a member so the maintenance and longer games or lower % options for bets are not open to me.

Good luck everyone!

Only a few days left and we part ways. I thought it might be interesting to see everyone’s stats if they wanted to share. I changed my diet significantly, ate a mountain of fruits and vegetables, drank protein smoothies almost daily and stuck to pretty much chicken and fish. Exercised consisted of treadmill, and it shows I ran 247 miles, achieved 12,990 feet in elevation, and burned 35, 475 calories, but how accurate is a treadmill really. So how did everyone else do? Congratulations to completing this journey.

Congrats Edwin! I switched to a plant based diet, walk over 10K steps per day and strength training 2-3 days per week. Also had major surgery ( gallbladder removal) in January but recovered well and am still working toward my goals :)

Meal prep is the only way I stay on track. I only do 2-3 days of meal prep at a time because I get grossed out by food older than that. I also hate food waste so meal prepping makes me eat it because I refuse to throw it out. And weighting every day. I need to see the small wins and the potential small losses

Make a plan and stick to it. The hardest part is climbing back into the wagon, once your in, you just ride it to your goal.

  • Started the day off with a delicious smoothie, banana, pineapple, blueberries, strawberries, Greek yoghurt, spinach and protein powder. Basically tasted like the melted slurry at the bottom of a banana split without the added 2000 calories.

I can’t be the only one changing up my diet, give me some of your changes, I figure the more healthy options we all have the better chance at success for us all.

That looks great! I’m focusing on on whole foods. Usually an egg w veggies for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch and veggies w beans and rice for dinner. I’ve lost 70 lbs so far and have 40 more to go to reach my goal

Jacque S.

That looks great! I joined late, so am just starting off, but am doing banana, spinach protein smoothies and/or hard boiled eggs for breakfast, salads for lunch, and will just focus on lean meats/seafood and lots of veggies for dinner this week.
