Woo hoo! I’m in the 138s! Haven’t been there in half a year.

Had a late lunch yesterday, and I felt too full to exercise when I got to the gym. So I decided to put the treadmill on an incline and walk for an hour until my food digested a bit. I was really surprised how many calories that burns! Then I got in half an hour of pull-ups, planks, and push-ups, and that felt sufficient.

I don’t think I’m going to the gym today, given the weather and the state of my house, but I’m making it a challenge to see how many move calories I can burn today. I think it will actually be fun!

Just had roasted rutabaga fries and I’m sold - so good! More like a sweet potato fry than regular, but definitely better in my mind than turnip ones.

I'm in the same spot. Workouts every day, lots of veggies, hitting my water goal. The scale is stuck right now, but i know it will drop soon. Don't give up. Not getting enough sleep or a little stress can make my weight stall, and then it will all drop at once.

Surpassed my 4% goal weight 🎉🎉🎉 woohoo.
Not going to sabotage my progress with a treat, although icecream would be lovely, this week especially. 😂 learning to curb though cravings has been key to dropping the weight I think. I used to eat 2tubs of icecream to myself a week!!! So far none this month 💪

Week 1 was awesome, this week not so much. With a sick kid getting up all hours of the night and not preparing lunches before hand, this week has been less than ideal. Still lots of time to refocus.

Woke up this morning the same weight as yesterday and originally was pretty bummed. But then I remembered, it’s not a gain, I didn’t 💩 yesterday and I’m sore from my weights workout yesterday. So I just need to stay the course and see a drop tomorrow! Also, I have a quiet weekend so using that as a push to lose some lbs. here’s to a wlw!!

My biggest challenge is “dinner and done”…. I find that I get hungry around 830 pm.
Has anyone else experienced this and overcame not eating after dinner? Maybe I just need to push through and it will get easier. I know this is one of the main obstacles that is stopping me from the losing and gaining cycle.

On my last meal plan, I was having an apple for desert, after the stress of putting my stubborn toddler down for the night and as a means of relaxing with a little treat before bed. I sliced it thin, put it in a bowl, and topped it with cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon each of vanilla and butter extracts, and about a tbsp of honey, and then microwaved it for about 2 minutes… tastes like apple pie, without packing too many extra calories. I found myself really looking forward to it each night! Maybe you could plan something like that into your day.

  • My dinner tonight. So good! Big salad with greens, sprouts, peppers, tomatoes, beets, and cucumbers. I topped it with simple chickpea and edamame salad and roasted pumpkin seeds for some protein. I dressed it with a little balsamic vinegar. If I’m still hungry I’m going to have an iq bar. I’ve said no to the lingering holiday sweets for two days now!
