Don't give up! When I started on my journey it felt hard but I began to make small changes to my meals and also started moving my body. The more I did, the better I felt though. Even a quick 10 minute walk--there are some great beginner walks on YouTube (I love Jessica Smith walk and talks). Keep going--you are worth it!

  • Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins
    (Healthier little treat to cure a sweet tooth)

    2 bananas
    1c. peanut butter
    2 eggs
    2tsp vanilla
    2tbsp honey
    1/2tsp baking powder
    4 chocolate chips ea. muffin (I just sprinkled a few semi-sweet minis. Didn’t measure)

    Mix everything besides the chips, place in muffin tin, top w/chips, bake at 400 for 10-13 mins!

    (Makes 10 traditional sized muffins)

Gm not stepping on the scale anymore. I'm over it and have come to realize I lost this game. There's nothing i can do. Gotta dust myself off and keep moving and have better luck next time. Congrats to all who did make it.

I, too, am struggling. I'm doing all the things I am supposed to and my body is not releasing any weight. It is hard as I've done many stepbets and never lost, but I am just not losing. It's ok...it's a marathon, not a sprint. It was a good motivator to get back on track after Christmas.

Watching my chances of hitting my goal this month slowly slip away. Ugh. I’m 1.5 years post-bariatric surgery and have lost 115 lbs. I’ve gotten this far by letting the lap-band just do its thing, but I’m coming to the realization that I need to track my food and seriously exercise on the regular. Time to establish some new habits. 💪

Thats alot to lose in a year. Congratulations. I, too, did have bariatric surgery the bypass and have only lost 93lbs in 3 years. They wanna put me on pills to lose the rest, but I'm convinced i can lose it naturally, so I, too, need to work on some new habits. It's hard, but I have to stick to it

Gosh it looks like I won’t sleep much tonight. I’m so nervous my little sister was just taken by ambulance she had racing heart wobbly legs and dizziness I’m really praying it’s not a heart attack or something. (She’s 29) I felt like I needed to tell someone but it’s late so here I am!

Fav healthy meals- grilled chicken or tuna salad for lunch everyday and then for dinner I alternate every few days is grilled chicken/shrimp/salmon with spinach/asparagus/broccoli and cauliflower rice /yams / mash

I just can't catch a break. Had surgery last fri. All went well, but now I have influenza A. I feel miserable, and everything in my body hurts. I'm losing the bet, unfortunately 😕

Health is more important. Weight loss is far less important than giving your body the rest it needs to be 100%.

Get better and start again when you can. Remember you can lose weight by eating healthy and in a calorie deficit so it’s ok if you can’t exercise for a little bit

Blessed Sunday we meet again. Welp, the scale is not moving in the direction it should be, so I'm gonna really focus on this upcoming week to restrict unnecessary foods I dont need. Idk if I'll make it in 16 days, but I'm sure gonna try. Congratulations to all who have made it and will be maintaining it. Have a blessed day/week ahead.

Drink lots of water and get good sleep you may even want to look into intermittent fasting
