Sick toddler at home and running on fumes juggling everything, but I am happy to report I am 92% to my goal! Woohoo! A big silver lining to the day and such an incredible feeling to be doing this during a month I normally gain 10lbs in. This year, I am reversing the trend. ?

    Im trying to shift my 'diet brain' which see's food as a treat/punishment to a 'normal' brain that see's food as nourishment and fuel for my body.

    That said, I sat down today to my lunch and by gosh its DULL ???

    WHATS THE WORST THING YOUVE EVER EATEN ON A HEALTH KICK?

    *I was tempted to ask you to guess what im eating! Miso and pumpkin soup with leftover spinach lentil dhal.

This morning I made a gross concoction. 1 cup Greek yogurt and a scoop of white chocolate peppermint protein powder. It was so weird tasting and horrible texture. I made myself eat it because my protein is 2$ per scoop and the protein yogurt is like 1.75$ per serving. I drank a lot of water with it. Other than that I just healthify my normal diet. Water instead of oils, protein/low carb versions of everything and less carbs and more veg. Works well for me

  • Using the Tiffany plate method to get my fiber and protein in. Yes it looks wild and yes I covered everything with tajin. Airfyer chick peas are the best snack if you have savory cravings like me.

The tiffany plate just replaces one of my meals (lunch or dinner) where I focus on getting fiber in and some protein.

Hello Everyone!
Greetings from Surrey in the UK!
Im a new mum on maternity leave, and find getting out the house spares my sanity.

It dawned on me today that diet bet is going to easily pay for itself.
- A walk to the shop for two breakfast croissants £2.20 SAVED
- Coffee with friends minus the cake £4.50 SAVED
- A walk to the corner shop for a cheeky bar of cadburys £2 SAVED

Today by curbing the secret eating I saved £8.70! Which for thoose across the pond is $11.60.

Great way to look at it! I can be really frugal about a lot of things, and I always keep this in mind how much I save by not going to fast food or even out to eat but twice a week a the most.

    Exercise is an important aspect of staying healthy! The saying "use it or lose it" is very true and every little bit counts! I prefer working out at home - either using my walking pad or finding a workout on YouTube (there are TONS to choose from!)

    What are you up to today? Can you think of some ways to add extra activity to your day (park farther away, take the stairs instead of the elevator, etc.)?

My goal is water aerobics 5 days a week. Been pretty consistent lately. It definitely helps with toning up and getting fresh air. Helps with slow consistent weight loss for me.

I love this saying. Moving your body feels so good regardless of what it is. I like to walk my dogs to the Post Office instead of driving. They get their walk in and I get an errand done! Plus, it's a 2 mile long round trip
