Haven't looked at Dietbet much the past month but tried some of Bodi's new 10 minute workouts, woke up early some days to ride bike without the littles being up, and last week committed to another round of LIIFT 4 (it's cute watching my 20 month old do mountain climbers, lol. For nutrition, following the book Fast Like A Girl and finally seeing the scale go down! My hormones are also more balanced and I have more energy!! Congrats to everyone that made their goal weight and also a shout out to everyone that showed up and tried!

Totally agree with you!! Best part of this was getting more energy and regulating the hormones and now I can play more with the kids. I've jumped daily with them on the trampoline and definitely couldn't do that before! Here's to feeling better!

I made my goal and this was my first Dietbet!What an encouraging community!! I was in a plateau for a couple months before and this was just the kick I needed to kick my motivation up. I get married in April, so I’m trying to keep this momentum going! But first- pizza for dinner ?

What program is everyone doing next?!
I’m looking at Joel’s hybrid calendars and considering Lift More + 25 MST calendar or 10 Rounds + 25 MST calendar. Would love opinions on any hybrids you all have done!

I'm going with 10 Rounds! I did 25 MST before, but after doing this challenge, I had so much fun doing the 10 Rounds workouts!

  • I just got verified! That's a win. I lost 11.4 lbs, gained muscle, and lost fat. I'm sticking with my plan, but I won't be able to do another Kickstarter DietBet because I want to focus on lowering my body fat percentage instead of just weight.   • I did it!! Had to lose 2lbs this past week and really learned how to track macros and protein! Chatgpt was actually a huge help!

Preheat oven to 375
Cut spaghetti squash in half drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle salt and pepper. Bake for about an hour. Wile that’s cooking I made the sauce

Sauce- Sautéed zucchini, onion, mushroom, garlic, spinach, diced tomatoes and I added green chili with Garlic powder onion powder and Italian seasoning

  • Y'all! It has been a WEEK! I did not want to work out today because cedar fever is kicking my butt (allergies for those not in central Texas). I also have a sick kiddo who was up all night puking. But I'm proud of myself because instead of resting after a long day at work, I worked out! I also didn't eat one of those frosted sugar cookies that were in the kitchen at work even though I REALLY wanted one ? Happy Thursday!!

Happy Wednesday!

I’m going to keep saying this because I want it to really stick…

Remember that there is a difference between what you’re trying to accomplish during these four weeks of the DietBet vs. what you’re trying to accomplish long term. In trying to lose a specific amount of weight in a specific time, you have to understand that there will be things you HAVE to give up during this time. You KNOW what you should be avoiding…it simply comes down to what’s more important to you. Your brain controls your cravings and you ARE strong enough to say NO! Remind yourself daily, every hour if needed (set an alarm on your phone) WHY you’re doing this.

In taking these next three weeks to work towards or accomplish a specific goal, you’re learning and setting yourself up for sustainable habits after the DietBet is over. We’re not doing this so you can simply go back to what you were doing before…we’re working on changing your behavior and mentality. YOU GOT THIS!!

Are you feeling hungry in the evening and need a crunchy snack?

First!! Make sure you are truly hungry and you aren’t just wanting to snack because you're bored or because snacking has become a habit as soon as you get to relax for the evening.

Now, if you are TRULY HUNGRY and need a little snack, here are some suggestions…

- Rice cakes with toppings of your choice (cottage cheese, PB, Greek yogurt, hummus, etc)
- Greek yogurt with a handful of low/no sugar cereal (Chex, plain cheerios)
- Celery w/ Peanut butter
- Carrots/celery/cucumbers/peppers w/ hummus
- Apple w/ Peanut Butter

Marinated onions, tomatoes and cucumbers in Italian dressing. When opening a new bottle of Italian dressing I do not shake the oil up, I drain it out, then shake the bottle. Less fat.

I have a sweet tooth so love dates, cut in half fill with peanut butter and dip in melted dark chocolate and place in freezer in airtight container. Soooo good
