We are headed into the first weekend of this DietBet and weekends often mean we are out of routine and there are foods around that we may not have prepared for.
Don't fall into the “I’ll start again Monday” mindset when it comes to your health journey.
How many times have you been dieting, gone over your calories or eaten something you thought you were "not supposed to eat" and then said "Well, I've already messed it up, may as well keep going, I'll start again Monday" and then continued to eat more than planned?
IF you go over your calories or eat something you were not planning on eating give yourself grace and continue on your plan the rest of the day.
How does this work?
Say you eat 2 oreos that you didn't plan for, don't continue to eat the whole sleeve.
You ate those two oreos, now what?
1. Know you are human and don't beat yourself up.
2. Put the rest away.
3. Get back on track TODAY, not Monday.
It may not be a mindset you are used to, but YOU are in control, you got this!
