  • My energy level plummeted yesterday. Was supposed to walk after work, but sleep kept pulling me. My goal was to close all rings each day and I failed yesterday. Ugh. Today is a new day and I will close my rings. I am 3.6lbs down. Yay.

  • Good morning and happy Wednesday!

I love to see everyone helping each other in this game! While I’m here and will always answer questions, every question I’ve seen has already been answered by other amazing players! Thank you!

On to today’s theme:workouts! What do you prefer, mornings or evenings? Personally, I’m a morning girl. If I try to do it in the evening, it ends up being a mess with kid stuff, dinner, and family time. But mornings I can do before the chaos of the day has started.

Always morning before the kids are up and the house is still and quiet.

The joke in my house is I’m only a morning person at Disney but I still get my workouts in before work

Doing a 10 day post-Holiday sugar cut and I’m feeling great! Today is day 4 and I go back to work, which will probably be the hardest. Anyone else taking a sugar break?

I am trying to be very mindful and cut unnecessary sugar.
This morning I was craving a sweet breakfast so I made a waffle from Kodiak, no oil and added an egg. For toppings I used 2 tsp choc zero cookie butter spread and a tbsp of there maple syrup. For no sugar I couldn’t even tell.

Russell Stover makes some incredible sugar-free chocolates. I think you can even get Reeses in sugar-free now too.

  • While I hate the phrase never miss a Monday, I’ve also turned it around so it works for me. Mondays are my planning days because there’s too much else going on for a workout and I need to have an idea of what the week will look like.

Mondays we sit down and plan our meals for the week, our family activities, and our workouts. My kids are old enough that they can join us for any or all of the planning.

Success doesn’t happen without a plan. What’s your plan for the week?

I love the idea of doing this on a Monday instead of a Sunday. I think that’s going to help me a lot! Weekends are always so chaotic and when I do get down time I need to fully relax into it.

Continue with no processed food or sugar. I shopped for what I needed this weekend so I have my Greek yogurt, fruit and veggies, beans and nuts, made my granola and we always have good meat (my husband is a hunter). Get into my gym each morning no matter what. And take a lunchtime walk at work. That’s the plan!

  • I think I’ve only been 189 when I was pregnant 30 plus years ago! I know perimenopause has a lot to do with it but I’m making slow sustainable changes … it took me 4 years to get here it may take me years to get where I want to be again! I’m inspired reading your posts! Let’s make 2026 our year! ❤☀❤ (picture of my friends wedding 12/30)

Beautiful!

Perimenopause is no joke! Just looking at the wrong foods makes the scale go up. We got this!! :muscle: We can help our symptoms by being intentional and making choices that matter for women our age.

  • Good morning and welcome to all the newbies! This game has grown SO MUCH overnight!

What are your goals for this game outside of weight loss? My goal is to be more consistent with the miles that I’m running. I’m doing a RunDisney run later this year and I need to make it through it! Will I be fast? Nope! Do I care as long as I have fun? Also nope. 😆

I can’t wait to go on this journey with all of you.

Have more water and veggies . Also walk few times a week aside from my yoga and dumbbell workouts .

Annie S.

My goal is to find consistency in my diet. I know how to eat. I know what makes me feel best. But I also love sugar. So this DietBet is about finding a consistent way to nourish my body that serves my current and future self.
