Alright all you amazing DietBetters, you have all done an amazing job these past four weeks and we couldn’t be more proud of you!! All of the weigh-ins haven’t even been logged in yet and the total weight loss is almost up to ELEVEN THOUSAND POUNDS lost!! Absolutely incredible!!

You have all the tools you need. Macro Like a Mother walks you through and teaches you how calories and macros tracking is much easier than it’s made out to be. You’ve hopefully learned that nutrition doesn’t have to be confusing or overly complicated. Workout-wise, you have so many workout programs at your disposal through BODi and 25 MINUTE SPEED TRAIN drops directly into the BODi library for everyone on 6/10 and Joel’s group in the new BODi Experience Community kicks off on Monday, 6/16. Anyone else catch yourself laughing out loud at times with the things Joel & CJ say in LM SB?? Even though these workouts are super tough, they make the pain less with their dad jokes. My favorite is when Joel says “if you’re on the floor, you’re doing it wrong”. I absolutely love these two together!! 😂😂

  • Cauliflower rice on bottom layer, some fresh mozzarella, no sugar marinara with chicken, onion and brussel sprouts with fresh mozzarella and basil on top.
    Had a side salad on the side!
    Sooo good!! Beautiful too!

Even if you've hit your 4% goal it's important to still keep your head in the game. It's easy once you hit a goal to slip back into old patterns that had you joining this challenge in the first place. Keep your nutrition in check and don't skip the workouts. You don't want extra bites, nibbles and treats to mess with your final weigh in. You are almost there, you got this!

I may not make my goal but one thing I did win at was becoming more self aware of my food choices. I still have a long way to go on the better choices but I take the small wins along the journey.

Yet again did nothing different in my diet kept at the same 1760 cal lifted weights 4 to 5 times a week cut my 15,000 steps in daily as well as did 30 yoga classes in those days and I did not lose 1 pound. In fact I gained again. and got my 135 g of protein in every day and did exactly what I am supposed to do and I still cannot lose any weight at all.

Last weekend to go! A few tips:

Get your workout done FIRST! If you’re going to a bbq, party, etc you know you’re not going to do it when you get home, so get it out of the way.

If you’re going to a party or any type of group gathering, eat your healthy foods BEFORE you leave to the shindig or take a shake with you and drink right before you go in. Then you won’t be as hungry and have a better chance of not snacking on the crap.

If you’re going to drink, then try to stay away from cocktails with high sugar content. Sticking with clear mixers like soda water help with calories and you’ll usually drink less because the drinks are stronger.

Remember, if you’re in this to try and nail that 4% weight loss, there will be things this weekend that you HAVE to say no to, and that’s OK! It’s not forever and you’ll be proud of yourself that you did!

  • Last workout before my race on Saturday. Got a 30 minute Peloton ride in. Don’t know if I’m ready for this race, but I’m just happy my body is letting me compete this year. Last year I was sidelined with a fracture of the neck of my femur. Now that the workout is done, gotta get laundry done and get packed up so I can take off right from work tomorrow.
